changing tire on Escape 19

What's the best way to change a tire on an Escape 19?

If using a jack, what are the appropriate jacking points?

Alternatively, I am thinking of pushing/pulling the trailer so that one wheel is up on boards with the idea that it will raise the other wheel on the same side off the ground. Has anybody done this?

Jay

Jay, I use that one tire on blocks method to service the bearings, works great.

Has anyone used the Trailer Aid Tandem Ramp successfully on a 19?

Thanks to everyone for the quick replies. The Trailer Aid looks very interesting. I plan to do an experiment to see if the advertised 4.5" of lift works for the 19. --Jay

Last week I blew a tire on my 19. Simply drove the other wheel up on levelling blocks and changed the damaged tire. Simple and quick.

Don,
Why did you blow a fairly new tire? Was it defective or under inflated?

Carlisle tire. Under 2000 kl. Yes they are offering to replace it. Pressure was OK. Trailer weight on 4 tires is minimal. Mid 40's. I will run higher in future.
