Covers for trailers stored outside

Where do you get a cover to fit a 17b? Any recommendations?

Calmark. Made of sunbrella. Pricey, but lasts a long time.

I find using a cover hinders last minute decisions to go camping, fiberglass durability was one of the reasons for choosing Escape.

I bought a 17' fishing boat in 1987 and had a cover made with Sunbrella fabric. It spent the first 15 years outside and now it's in a partial coverd car port ( catches a little winter sun) . Still good as new, can't belive that fabric holds up so well. They also used special sunlight resistent thread ( goretex) . Wasn't cheap $1000 27 years ago. The boat cost $12000.

I covered my 17B with a CalMark Cover. Love it.

for those with the CalMark/sunbrella covers, in your experience do you find it doesn't scratch the trailer (and solar panels too I guess) and breathes well enough so mold doesn't develop?

I like the idea of covering trailer. I like the idea of the "portable carports" with roofs and no walls, but a decent one seems to cost much more than the Calmark cover.

I'm on my 2nd Adco one, the 1st was their better grade, Tyvek sides, white roof. Being as careful as I could be with it it lasted 6 seasons before it literally disintegrated. The 2nd was their Aquashed model, they changed the look and I ended up ordering the wrong one. It's crap.

Being a small 20' trailer, I have no problem taking them off or putting on when I want. It's a 10 minute job once you get a system. Need to roll it up the same every time so you know which end is which when you want to unroll it on the roof. At least that's what works for me.

Only had my Calmark for one season. Haven't noticed any scratches at all. I put rubber/foam corner guard (found with child-proofing, safety products in stores) on the solar panel to prevent snags. So far, it's great.
