Davis 1458 Air-Dryr 1000

Has anyone ever tried one of these Davis 1458 Air-Dryr 1000 to keep the moisture out of the trailer?

I tossed one in the garbage.
All it does is warm the air so that the air can contain more moisture. You can do the same with a 60 watt bulb.
It does not collect and contain moisture like Dri-Z-Air container and crystals.

I have been using Davis air dryer for past 8 years, in fact I use two of them, the large and small ones. The large I sit on top the stove cover and the small on the bathroom teak floor. I plug both of them in a therm-o-cube, on at 35 and off at 45 degrees. Have not had any moisture in any of my 3 Escapes.

i used a small electric dehumidifier. the water compartment needs to be emptied every week lately- really keeps the moisture out of the air. Love it but my trailer is by my house and plugged in to home electricity.

I use 2 electric dri airs on my power boat. Works well in keeping the moisture down in a humid environment. If it dips below freezing I switch to small electric heaters.
