The major limiter for our boondocking is waste water storage capacity. The four of us try to limit water use but still start running out of tank space after four or five days.
I decided next time we 'go' we will use grey water to fill the toilet bowl rather than fresh water. I already modified my trailer to easily drain grey water into a bottle via a garden hose bib but a Valterra adaptor such as this would do the same thing.

I takes about 800 ml or 3/4 quart to fill the toilet bowl adequately (for us), so that is about four liters or one gallon per day of water down the drain. Over 4 or 5 days this would add up.
By taking it from the grey water tank I'll open up a little space in that tank and save fresh water for other uses.
We try to limit kitchen debris from going down the drain so the grey water should just be a little soapy, no harm done.
Has anyone tried this?
