I suggested using an agriculture type sun shade to a member in Georgia, if it is just sun you want protection from, something you can install over the trailer for protection yet it will allow air and water through.... https://www.amazon.com/Cool-Area-Rec...ade+blue&psc=1
I used one on my EggCamper with success.

And it still looks the same, I too just put extra wax there.

Unfortunately, it would be seen above the wall and the H.O.A. wouldn't allow it. A Calmark cover (or similar) is my only option. Bob

I'm confused, would it not be a temporary thing like a cover, on and off dependent on the seasons? Either way, good luck.....

Hi: t-twnbob... I thought the "Pres select" had backed off of "The wall". Wouldn't the cover also be visible above it?
I'm glad I don't have any HOA's rules to play by. Bad enough to have a constantly changing set by our regional government!!! Alf

Some may remember that casita forum member with a brand new trailer. It developed spider cracks and the owner kept saying I want it fixed. Casita kept coming back it's cosmetic, we will do nothing. I don't recall Casita ever giving in on the warranty claim but can't remember for sure, too many years ago.

We had spider cracks on our Casita the same year we bought it new, 2007. When I talked to them, they said it was cosmetic, but that they wanted me to be happy so I could have a local shop repair it and they would reimburse me. Never did have it done.
