Summer storage

I got the winter storage thing down. What do you do in between trips the rest of the year? Do you leave windows closed with occasionally airing out or do you leave windows open? Is too hot a bad thing? Anything I need to know?

With the awning windows, I leave the bath and kitchen cracked open and the MaxxFan vent open but not operating.

My trailer sits all summer, I just leave the roof vent open. I also put heavy paper between the windows and the shade, at least on the sunny side.

I thought Escape recommends that the shade stays up while in storage?

We've done the same thing as Jim (bath and kitchen window open, Maxx fan open); however, we got lazy with the cover AND the waxing and paid for it with some oxidization that had to be buffed out (ugh!). With the new trailer, we're ordering the cover and will use that until we have some type of structure built (and we may even cover it under that ... ).
