Wow! I can't believe I got to become an Escape owner without having to take an IQ test! You guys are SMART! Thanks a million! Looking forward to meeting some of you at the Oregon Fiberglass Gathering next week. I'll have freshly cleaned cushions!

That's hilarious! Where do I get that "magic" man from? I've got lots of other stuff around here he could help with :-)

Took a gamble and threw the cushion covers in to the laundry machine. These have the vinyl backing, but did ok in the machine.

Other than some very slight bunching of material, the cushions look great (and clean). Did not need the garbage bag trick, as the foam went in fine with some careful squeezing.

I took the cushions to a carpet place and they steam-cleaned them. I also steam-cleaned them myself as we have a little home steam cleaner. Doubt one costs much and you can use it then any time.

I threw mine in the washing machine a year or so ago and they went back on fine-(and mine are old!) Even the dryer on low for a short while--and that is with the vinyl backing...

How do you wash the back cushion (the one with the wood backing) on a u shaped dinette? It is stapled on.
