Using led lights and solar panel

Just a note to those planning on dry camping and using a solar panel for maintaining proper battery charge rates.
We have been dry camping almost exclusively in California and Arizona for the past 3 months. A single movable 50 watt
solar panel has provided all the power we have needed....we have all LED lights and charge our computer, cell phones, stereo,
and occasionally watch TV on our flat screen led. I adjust the panel 3 times a day to maximize the charge effectiveness.

We also run the forced air heater at least 4 hours a day because we like creature comforts in the cool evenings or early mornings.

My wife and I have dry camped in various RVs for 25 years including Mexico and this 19 foot trailer has been the best in terms
of dry camp efficiency.

This message is being sent from the desert using a Droid as a tether to our lap top while our solar panel is charging everything
and still holding 12.6 volts.

That's GREAT! Makes you feel right independent, doesn't it! I have to try and keep up with that info, for the day when we hit the road for an extended time. Love to be off the grid!
