vinyl film to protect finish

Has anyone used 3m vinyl film on the front of campers to protect the finish?
Our previous camper was often used in winter conditions, and the front took a beating from road grit. We have a new 19' ordered, would like to protect the finish if possible. The new storage box will help but I'd like to try the film if it could help.

I am using the 3M Protection on the front of my 5.0TA. Given the scarring of it after 2 years, it certainly seems like a good decision.

I did. I had thought of doing it myself, but I opted for a professional install as I was running out of time.

I keep trying, but customers keep calling me back to do stuff for it. Sometime I'm going to learn how to say no!

I'll look for a window tinting firm that also does paint protective film, most do.

I’d check with a local body shop. I’m sure they have to install this stuff as rock protection on lower fenders on occasion.

Article on removal of 3M film

There is an article in the July/Aug issue of Escapees magazine that discusses how to remove the 3M protective film on an RV after it has yellowed.
