Vinyl wall covering
Birthday party for a "golden girl" taking place in the house, so I'm out in the trailer, puttering.
Discovered a nick ( cut ) in the vinyl wall covering, about 1/8 inch long.
Used ivory silicon caulk to fill it and wiped away excess with a damp cloth. It has virtually disappeared.
No telling how long it will hold up.

I have a leather chair that had a rip in the seat. Ordered a patch kit and die kit. The chair looks brand new again. The kits also work on vinyl.
If you ever get a tear, check this place out!

Was that on the bathroom door?
I removed my toilet paper holder and filled the holes with a synthetic caulk.

Is it a paper product with a vinyl top coat? If so, I wonder why it might tear with an improperly removed Command Strip.

We're talking two different things. I repaired a cut in the vinyl wall covering, not in the oak foil that is on cupboards.
I did damage the oak once, improperly removing a 3M Command hook. Solution was to put the hook back where it was, although I now have some 'oak' tape that does a great job of covering that damage.

Where did you get your 'oak' tape? I have a few spots where it would be helpful....

I knew you'd ask that.
I got some last time I stopped in at Escape.
Sorry Tammy.

I made a dumb mistake and forgot to secure the TV so it could not move on it's articulating arm... my wall vinyl now has several marks on it and a hole. I searched and found this string, I guess I will try the ivory silicone to "fix" it..... seems like a do a little bit of damage to Bailey every time I take her out.... I am still on the steep part of the learning curve with her!

You might want to go to sailrite.com and look for vinyl repair. They have products specifically for vinyl.

I would email ETI for advice. They probably can recommend the product and colour code for the product that will match exactly.
