With the table sliding front to rear really helps with the overheads in the "U" designation.

Hi: cpaharley2008...Using an old pair of wool work socks to slip over the tube ends keeps them from scratching any of the paneling surfaces if travelling with the table down. Alf

Thanks, but with the smaller table, I leave it up at all times now, KISS principle….

Do you have any space on the sides with that configuration? When I slide our table to the side I can actually walk to the back cupboard and of course be standing right under the side cupboard.
