A 19, a 15B, and a 12A

We had a wonderful trip to Wallowa Lake in late August, stopping in Pendelton on the way and Maryhill State Park on our return. On the way home, we decided to stop at a BLM interpretative center showing the Oregon Trail where it crossed the Blue Mountains. Imagine our surprise when we came upon Steve and Delores and their 19. We had a pleasant visit and toured each other's Escape.

Shown in the photos are our two Escapes, the ruts from the thousands of covered wagons that travelled through this area, along with what I think is a very old Escape 12A. It's been a big leap to go from the 12A to the new 21!

We stayed in Mary Hill State Park in August on our way to Crater Lake. Great little fruit stand right there.
The area that we live in in Port Coquitlam is called Mary Hill--hence the reason for the stop. There were whitecaps on the river the day we were there, but the dip in the water was very refreshing.

We also saw a covered wagon at another state park we stopped at and I asked Doug if that was my surprise new trailer!!!

Nope--we are sticking with the 17B as much as I love the idea of the new 5... I would rather be out and about than having to work 5 or more extra years... So will stick with what we have and I have 2.5 years left to work...

We bought some fresh peaches at that fruit stand that were amazingly good.

Jim and Robin's trailer viewing helped us make our decision for our 15B. We got our recent "escape pictures" posted with some recommendations for the places we stayed in CA, OR, and WA.

California / Oregon at https://sites.google.com/site/ouresc...ravels/ca-2013

Olympics at https://sites.google.com/site/ouresc.../olympics-2013

Enjoy! Tim and Julie (Hey it was an entire month in the 15 in California with 8 days above 100)
