Re: Another series of production photos

Hi Alf.

Kinda had the same thought myself. I think through the bathroom is the bit with the foil-type insulation that shows in #032. That framed bit might be the door, waiting for panels - something waterproof on the inside and something that will perhaps match the cabinet doors on the outside? Does that fit in with what you see on your finished 5.0?

Regards,
John

Hi: HokieEscape... Spring has "Sprung" so we're heading up to my bro n laws storage tomorrow to "Spring" Our Escape Hatch from fibernation. Gotta get her bathed and washed up for our trip to Townsend Tenn. at Tremont Outdoor Resort www.tremontoutdoorresort.com Apr 19-22. Come on over if you can!!! It's looking like a great rally lined up there.
Sounds like there might be one in Virginia starting to form too. Alf

Re: Another series of production photos

Hi Alf.

Yes, we picked it up on March 19 and have been travelling down the Pacific Coast since. We're in Carlsbad right now. We even saw another Escape going the opposite way on a freeway up in Washington.

The trailer is even better than we were expecting. The 5th wheel is easy to hook up and tows real easy, and the inside of the trailer is so cleverly designed and well-built. We saw a lot of heavy rain and cold nights up in Oregon and experienced a bit of the moisture discussed in other forums, but it was easy enough to dry it out again. We got the extra insulation and thermopane windows and that keeps things quiet in RV parks and state campgrounds, and the 6-volt batteries and solar charger have kept us above 75% battery power when we're dry camping. I think you already knew this though!

No real pictures yet, and now it's all dirty. We passed a carwash on the way here, and there is an RV-detailing company in the park toady but it's still dirty. Maybe next week?

If you ever get up to North Bay give us a shout.

Regards,
John
