And since I got in trouble commenting about chandeliers earlier this week I'm going to stay out of this one!

Well, I for one want to thank you Emile for posting. Glad you are out having fun with your new trailer .... and by the way how was / is it? Any issues?

Tom

My 17A was started last Monday (9/21) and they already have the cabinets in. I'll try to post this weekend.

Good Luck, Emile

Thanks Tom!

I'm going to continue to post my trip experiences, and obviously won't post any pictures of any deer that I may kill to feed my family. I understand how some people feel about reality and will not instigate that, farm raised or not, it's all the same.

My posts will be of my cousin and I, the trailer and experiences. If you happen to see my bow, tree stand or any other gear at the campsite,oh well!

Ok,on to the trailer!
It's the best trailer I've seen or had, it's just made better period! Some minor things I found were a small leak under the sink on the hot water connection, a simple twist of the screw collar and that was that!
Then there's the infamous "light through the door". This is in no way a problem, defect or shoddy workmanship, I can see it's just difficult to perfectly seal a curved door to a curved entrance.
The last thing is absolutely nothing at all other than a personal pet peeve, I hate squeaks! There's a slight squeak in the floor right where the refrigerator cabinet is. It's slight and irrelevant, it's just me!
The coldest night so far was around 38 degrees F and no problems with the heater, I love it! Not sure if the duel pane Windows help without being sealed with gas in between but they look cool and I like them! The insulation I would say has to be of some help because the heater had no problem heating the trailer night after night and condensation was minimal.

The refrigerator is awesome! I'm really happy about that because of all the negative refrigerator talk. The warmest mid day temps were 78 and I had the setting on 5 which is the highest. I had ice milk which was in a large plastic container stored in the door. Had to turn the setting to 4 and its still a little icy, zero complaints on the refrigerator, it's excellent!

I camped the first four nights without any hookups, I ran the refrigerator the whole time and the heater all night. I didn't use any lights because I have two small battery operated led lanterns that we used. I upgraded from the 27 group battery to the 29. The last time I checked the 29 wasn't available as an upgrade, just the twin 6 volts. I didn't check the battery so I have no idea how low it was but it worked for the entire four days and I'm very happy!
For the rest of the trip it will be plugged in to shore power.

My F250 isn't labored at all pulling this trailer, the truck is heavy and the trailer is like paper behind it. I get around 16 mpg on the highway driving 70, towing the trailer I lose 1 mpg so far.
My wife and son went with me for just the first night and we just had a family camping evening with a campfire and marshmallows. My son loved the trailer, as did my wife but of course it wasn't long before she uttered those words that I dreaded to hear......5.0TA. But I explained the value (for me personally) of the truck bed and fiberglass cap and she soon agreed! Phew!

Sounds like a good trip. Glad you are enjoying your trailer!

And thanks for keeping us up to date on your trip. What states are you hunting in? Ohio bow season is open.

Good luck on your hunt. Blessings to you and your family.
