Re: Cafe Egg
Hi: Eric T...Is your Escape 17 sitting on a Jack stand or is it Hello Dolly wheels I use a Wax/Wash product; Armour All Ultra Shine seems to be the best!!! I have a 1998 VW New Beetle and it has only been waxed once...the rest of the time I just wash it. Same goes for our trailers and other vehicles. Alf

Re: Cafe Egg
How much elbow grease does that require?
What a pretty blue color. It's fun to see what everyone chooses.

Re: Cafe Egg
I've been using a Simonize wash/wax - not that I can vouch for it after only a year, but it seems to do the job. What I do like is the Simonize car wash brush. The fibers that make up the brush really hold the washing solution - like a sponge.

Re: Cafe Egg
Hi: Sandra L...I always purchase a case of "Elbow Grease" at the Duty Free when crossing the border. That way I have enough for at least one... "Shine" Alf

Re: Cafe Egg
I can't take any credit for the decal color choice - that was entirely Mary's - mine would have been something much more boring. I like to use NuFinish for my wax jobs. It was top rated in Consumer Report years ago and it seems to be easy to put on (well relatively anyway) and lasts well.

Re: Cafe Egg
Seriously, you all wax the trailer. I hadn't really considered doing that, but I guess it would help get rid of any oxidization, but holy smokes, that must take a fair bit of time. I imagine just a regular automotive wax will do then?

Re: Cafe Egg
Jim - it helps prevent oxidation with a good coat. But, yes, it ain't fun! My wife does not appreciate me very much when we do it

Re: Cafe Egg
You guys have a sick sense of fun.
Though the beverage idea does sit nice with me.
