Dave tried his best to make this work. We ended up bringing a moffit fork lift to the location and were able to inch the escape off the trailer.

Looking at some of these manoeuvers on ramps, I'm thinking a telehandler would be ideal - it would sit beyond the ramps, telescope to reach to the trailer tongue, and pull the trailer off by retracting with full control of the height of the ball. It's a common type of machine, but it's not as if a trailer buyer is likely to have one sitting around! It would at least be a possible option in case someone does not have access to a forklift.

I had my driver bring our moffit fork lift. Our model does have telescoping forks on it. It was very easy once we got the unit there. The problem is you have to worry more about the rear of the trailer. With the length of the 21 compared to the ramps, the hitch on the rear of the 21 just slightly touched the top of the trailer coming down the ramp.

Same thing with the TA, the rear hitch dragged a bit. Doesn't sound like this is an issue when Dave has his normal rig.

Was there a 5.0TA on the trailer as well? (I can't see the video)
Mine was supposed to be on that truck, but I haven't heard anything from ETI.

The thread is getting confusing, but the truck that delivered to Pete had just dropped off my TA. If you canceled delivery, you may be the reason I got my trailer a couple weeks early. I was supposed to get it in July.
