Oliver Lee is a wonderful little state park! We often recommend it to folks. If you are heading north up 70 and then 54, Three Rivers Petroglyphs site (a BLM site) is well worth a stop...it's about 50 miles away, not far off the main road (54). Great little walk through tons of petroglyphs! They also have a campground.

I visited the Three Rivers Petroglyphs a few days ago. Their artists certainly were prolific. I have to admit, every time I see a petroglyph site I think of the Far Side cartoon "Zog Jones Cooks His Meat".

Here's another photo from the Oliver Lee park:

More photos. Two more from Oliver Lee, including an "out my back window"; and some petroglyphs and a little red schoolhouse from Three Rivers.
