First trip!

We got to use our new Escape this weekend for the first time (except for my trip home from buying it).
Really nice unit – everything we were hoping for bit bigger bed, two seat dinette with the rear bed made up & a few other bells & whistles we didn’t have in our Scamp.

We went to Cape Disappointment SP with some friends from work. Weather was quite pleasant until Saturday night when the rains came.

We were the only Escape, but not the only fiberglassers…
I talked briefly with a Burro owner on his first trip and the owner of one of 2 Scamps in the park – who turned out to live very near us.

It was a bit rushed to move out of the Scamp & into our Escape but we hope to have everything sorted out by the Bandon Gathering next month!

Here’s a picture Norma took of the Girls and our friend Jennifer helping me set up.

Re: First trip!

What fun! We made the switch from a Scamp 16 Side Dinette to the Escape 17B and we really love it. It is great to have an awning that we don't have to get our the manual every time we want to open it!

Uh...you don't?
Just kidding , Fortunately, I had a friend help me with it the first time (after I'd been driving 11 hours) and its pretty intuitive after that.

A nice rig. I remember seeing it when you stopped at Taidnapam State Park on your way home.
