Samlex remote inverter control.
Home
We provided a longer networking cable and had the remote panel installed near the galley.

I'm thrilled for all of you who are picking up new 21s soon. Can't wait to hear what you all have to say about your new trailers. I feel like every day brings us closer to becoming part of the Escape family. Even though we won't be ordering one until next Spring

Sally - you do have a beautiful trailer, it's fun to see the custom work that Reace and Tammy will do. Like Donna, we thought you were booked for delivery or we could have coordinated a campout - maybe we will still cross paths....

Thanks Chuck and Jubal.

Floating Cloud - thanks, we know they would keep our trailer but for us the weather will only determine how long our initial campout will be since we'll be nice and cozy in the Escape. No mountains to cross like Sally - we wouldn't do the Siskyous in the snow either!

Kathie (and Dave) who are both chewing on Tums and trying not to hyperventilate!

The Escape production schedule is almost full for next Spring, it is best to pick a date now and try to get in the queue.

Hi Jubal, I'm curious about the remote inverter control. I know nothing about inverters, just trying to learn, hoping I can ask a few questions?

The remote control lets you switch from shore to inverter without having to use the regular toggle switch, and gives you details about performance? Does it provide automatic transferring? Any other super cool stuff it does?

Is Samlex the brand of inverter that Escape uses?

Thanks. j

Reading the manual will give you insight.
http://www.samlexamerica.com/documen...1-12B-0912.pdf
The remote switches the inverter on, shows battery voltage and the inverter output in response to appliance demand. The remote does not automatically switch between shore power and the inverter, it is a stand alone system (inverter only). A split 120V duplex outlet labeled and provided by Escape (standard option) or a manual transfer switch between the inverter and shore power such as the one Hotfishtacos installed are two different alternatives.

Escape primarily uses Samlex products. When we ordered the 19 the GoPower (Carmanah) inverter was + $200

Finally got a few pics together of our pickup. A lot of them are from the phone so apologies for the clarity. Had an open house and lots of folks came by to oooh and aaah. We had fun coming home and couldn't be happier (unless it was still camping season). It's cold here so Dave winterized. Sigh.

Thanks everyone. It is a beautiful area of the country - those mountains are the North Cascades I think - in the other direction are the Olympics.

Someone here posted to use an airbake insulated cookie sheet under everything in the oven - worked great.

Pam & Fletch - you guys are a hoot. We had countdown calendars on our desktops (I think Donna D was counting down too!) and a Canadian Exchange rate notice that we updated every day! That about drove us crazy.
