Here's the day older model. Snow may happen over the Siskyous on my way to get him. Keep your fingers crossed for me; I don't DO snow. BTW, apparently TP is included.

I love your idea of the upper hanging cabinet at the end of the bed. Wish we would have thought of that. Are you using the original hanging closet for a pantry, shelving, or??

Shelving/pantry/ whatever. I wish I had thought of moving the microwave down; wouldn't have needed to carry a stepstool.

Nice pictures, you will be very happy when it is done.

I noticed some electronics above the CO detector, solar, tank monitor, sound, I could not tell what was present. Two black panels?

Also it looked like from the photo of the oven that the battery box was visible, is that your take? Inside batteries.

My wife is only 5 foot tall so we always have to carry a step stool. But you're right, moving the microwave down would be a great idea. I guess that's what we get for buying at the front end of the production run. Even so, it's a great trailer.. Oh I just ran into the first negative. It's trailer wash day. Enough said.

Yes, the battery is under the curb side dinette rear seat, not sure what that other display is for, next to the solar?
Thanks everyone for posting pictures, I'm 2 weeks behind you…..

If that is the solar monitor will that not be hard to read (look at) being so low. I am not familiar with the solar monitor, do you even need to look at it often?

The solar monitor tells you the current state of charge of the battery (100%) and the current flow of volts into/out of the battery. I never looked at it unless there was a problem. I also use a plug in voltage alarm that sounds off if the volts drops below 11.90. As far as inverter, I have no working knowledge of that set up.

Sally - you have doors! Keeping our fingers crossed that the good weather will hold out. We thought about the cupboard by the bed but decided we wanted the counter space there (computers, cameras, books, what have you).

Paul and Norma - we will stay in Ferndale for 2 nights (at the Cedars RV park). Get things organized and hopefully figure things out while we are still close to the factory. Plus it's close to Bellingham and lots of places like Camping World, Costco, etc. Then over to Whidbey Island, taking the ferry to Port Townsend and staying at Fort Worden. Then down 101 to I5 and home unless the weather holds.....

The batteries are under the dinette. I know one of those monitors is the solar, not sure about the other.

Didn't know we got TP..is it in a waterproof holder?

What I thought was TP in the picture turns out to be the holder, which is a covered one to keep out shower water. I'm having a folding end table installed at the foot of the bed for alarm, glasses, etc. as I didn't think I could reach the overhead shelf easily. I'll camp at Bay View State Park for one or two nights. Got space #3 thanks to (I think it was Jon's) recommendation.

I can stop somewhere off I5 Portland if Donna wants to see alternate layout?

It says it is going to be delivered but that's never been the case. I'll be picking it up on the 6th, 8AM appointment. (Thank heavens there's a Tim Hortons and a Starbucks nearby!) I'll spend one or two nights in WA before driving home via I80. Will contact you privately for phone # exchange.

Kathie and Dave, and Sally, it is all looking so good! Nice photos.
If the weather should be bad, Escape will be happy to keep your trailers waiting for you a little longer.

What, no toilet paper?? You should get after them about that.

You both are going to enjoy this new larger trailer. It will seem so large after your Casita 17. Have fun and enjoy it because it comes from a quality trailer company.

Vicki,
We have some Casita friends from Houston that are very close to ordering one.
