We just got ours and the panelling beside the stove is definitely beige. Much more brown than white. The 'buttons' next to the exterior wall are medium brown. Probably chosen because they are a better match to the finish than white buttons would be.
It looks good with the standard mica and adjacent white vinyl wall.

It looks like you requested two LED lights for the rear. Clever idea! Unfortunately my build sheet is signed and I don't want to pay the fee for mods after the build sheet is finalized.

I guess if you want to use that back up camera at night, lights would help....

It is exciting to watch as other folks see the pictures of their Escape being built. How soon until the finished build date?

I made a few additions after the Build Sheet signing. More money in ETI’s pocket. No mention of the $200 change fee.
Can’t hurt to ask.

We also have the two LED lights on the rear and it has worked out well for backing in after dark, and for anything that needs to be done behind the trailer after dark.

A close up of the partition next to the range in the 21.
You decide what color to call it.

I did this on my 5.0TA and according to my build sheet it was $200 for the bench modification and $100 to modify the cushions.

Kent,
Those square sinks and stove look wonderful together.

The sales person could not answer the reason for the change.
I still chose the maple interior because I really like the rest of it and it goes really well with our formica and upholstery colors. I plan to use the stickup tiles from home depot anyway as I don't really care for the look of white waterproof wall next to the stove either. This way I will have a unified look all around.

We are planning on doing the same, there are a lot of options for those stick on tiles and the material looks very durable and easy to wash.

On our new 21', the white vinyl behind the countertop seems to be 'vinyl' adhered to some sort of soft insulation like material. I can easily depress the vinyl perhaps a 1/4" with my finger. I'm thinking of similar ideas but since the vinyl is not rigid, I'm not sure a stick-on type tile would work. Seems to me that the weight of a tile would cause the vinyl to sag forward plus it would be difficult to get the tiles exactly lined up with no visible seam since the mounting surface is not rigid and inflexible.
On a cold and snowy day today, I wandered around Home Depot just thinking of ideas but nothing jumped out at me.
Given time, the creative types will come up with a good, workable solution.
On the other hand, the vinyl is washable. I accidentally hit it with a magic marker and the ink came off easily with alcohol. However, it is soft and a sharp object like a kitchen knife, will easily cut it.
Until I come up with a solution, no loose knives on the counter.

. What if you asked Escape , even if you had to pay for it , extra Formica . I guess you would also need them to install a glassed in ledger board during the build to attach as before the Formica . Pat

Why not wait until you have an actual problem, and then apply the solution?

Following the directions from Don Andrews and using the leftover Formica Escape gave me, I made a backsplash for both edges of the kitchen corner of my 17. It’s easy to slip it behind the short backsplash that was used previously. With the new design, it seems to me that a piece of quarter round could be used to steady the Formica on the edges of the counter.
