Seems to me that the weight of a tile would cause the vinyl to sag forward plus it would be difficult to get the tiles exactly lined up with no visible seam since the mounting surface is not rigid and inflexible.

Several of us have used the Smart Tile brand on the vinyl and it works well. They are flexible and conform nicely to the surface. Ours has been in use for over 2 years and still looks as good as the day I installed it.

The corner round would work but I still would want the whole backsplash . Would want the backsplash attached to wall , just in case the wall flexes going down the road. I tucked a piece of Formica behind the backsplash and the Vent . It has held for 5 years now to protect behind the stove it just floats . Didn't like the idea of glueing something to vinyl . Met someone at last rally who had their vinyl damaged from cooking . Pat

Gotcha. There may be times when a picture of the skeletal structure might be needed in order to find solid wood to attach something. (Or some other reasons).

Wow. Do I ever agree with you! I've gutted old homes sometimes down through the lathe (very hateful) to the studs in order alter the space, check out runs of ancient knob & tube electrical wiring, and replace stopped up or leaking galvanized piping. And more... Image #1 exposes a mess of wiring. 2. Framing out for a powder room. 3. Installing base for counter top. 4. Completed. It helped to have archived the layout of the studs.

Got some more photos for today.
- Facing towards the back, it looks like two different colors of light, bathing the interior. Plus, the color balance of the photos have made it hard for folks here to visualize what color the vinyl on the kitchen wall is. One hint, is that bluish/cyan from the kitchen window is probably masking and preventing the warmer colors to be visible. It probably is a brown or beige divider wall. Pretty nice, and very acceptable I think.
-In the 2nd photo, the refrigerator, countertop, bathroom furniture, and other features have just been installed.
-In the third photo, the silver logo has been applied to the outside. Also, the front cargo box, the outside shower, and other options are shown.
It’s moving fast.

Some nice progress in two days Based on your timelines, I guess I can expect photos to start arriving around April 8th.

Scratch that, I see your completion date is in 4 business days. I guess they either pump these babies out way faster then they use to or they're sending photos later in the build cycle.

We called them on Monday to ask about getting our pictures. Then they sent the first pictures on Tue, Mar 5 (7 business days from completion time).

It moves incredibly fast when they start sending pics - new progress pics every day for a week and then it's done! However, once it's done, time slows down and the days move forward at a crawl as you wait for your pickup day to arrive. Ours was done at the end of December, and our April 12 pickup date still seems a long ways off, I think when we finally arrive in Chilliwack after the long drive from Texas and see our new baby in person our heads may explode!

It’ll be done Wednesday. We will drive up to get it on April 8. We aren’t in any hurry.

If I had not already ordered custom flooring, I would have stayed with the new stock flooring/countertop combination. Nice and dark, hides dirt very well.........not that we keep a dirty trailer!

I have a completion date of June 21 which is a Friday and I will be there on Monday. I'll be in route, a little over 3,000 miles, while they're sending the pictures. Hopefully I can see them with an iPhone.

Nice colors! I really like the changes that ETI made as standard.
It’s starting to sink in, Peter. Gonna be right around the corner.
Woohoo!

Yes. Right around the corner. We soo enjoyed our Scamp, that the anticipation now is killing us. Already have booked a few camping trips. Can’t wait to have it in the yard.
