Not sure if I'm impatient. Do you guys just get your photos or do you have to ask for them? I've received four sets of photos on the 15th, 17th, 23rd and 24th. I had to ask for them on the 15th, and 23rd. Tempted to ask again, but maybe I have unrealistic expectations

I received mine automatically, but there was one day I had to ask.

I heard from Escape, apparently they only take photos at 10am everyday and are given a very short window to get photos so they don't guarantee who or when the photos come. She's promised to get mine tomorrow.

Sounds like the photos can only be taken while the construction crew breaks for coffee. I guess they don’t want plumbers butt pictures all over the internet.

Shelf over bed

Here a link to the modification. The largest runs about $19 Canadian each and the link is in the post following the mod post.

Looks like my shelf can't be relocated, but I can take it home and attach it myself. I'll do that but first look at the wall pocket panels.

-Thanks

We have the same problem with reading or watchingTV in bed. Art built a "headboard" for us that can be pulled out and placed against the shelf for us to lean on. Kind of a slant board. We haven't used it long term yet, but works great in the driveway

You can always ask if they will mark with masking tape on the finished side where the horizontal wall studs are.

You almost never see the inside of that wall on the 21 build pictures but here is what the shower wall looks like on our 19.

Thanks for posting the pictures. I ordered something from JT's called Monroe Pewter and on the internet it appears similar to what you have. I had no idea what it was going to look like and now at least some idea. I love those colors with the maple interior. You planning any accessory cushions and if so what color?

I like bright colours with Greys so maybe yellow? I haven't decided yet though!

The fabric we used is this one: https://www.sailrite.com/Sunbrella-4...olstery-Fabric

I like that and if I had spotted it earlier probably would have picked it. I also like yellow or gold or maybe Alabama crimson for accessory cushions. I'll find out for sure in 7 1/2 weeks.

My build sheet is due in 5 days and I'm slowly going thru this thread for final ideas. Thanks for aggregating all your photos.

Unless I find someone has already done so, I'll ask Escape to send me photos of all bare walls and their studs.

Looks great, Jim.
I seem to remember a comment by you that you might ask them to carefully clean - maybe sawdust and/or fiberglass fibers?

If I remember correctly and you did ask them, how was that received?

I've never received positive responses when I've asked folks to do their jobs, and one response was very hostile.

I plan to inspect my trailer on Monday, a day before delivery and if it does not appear clean, they will have 24 hours. This is one of the issues of buying from afar, how good is their detail department, similar to what happens in an auto dealership, when the vehicle is unloaded from the shipper trailer and sits outside, but once sold it is detailed for your pick up. We shall see in a little more than 2 weeks...
In addition, going direct to Osoyoos after delivery will allow additional time for inspection and Reace and Co will be there if needed.

About 10 days before my 21' pickup I emailed my cs contact to ask the question on cleaning. I wasn't all that comfortable asking it but I did it anyway. This is what I wrote:

Does ETI do a final cleaning as a standard procedure before orientation and customer pickup? I hope ETI does it as part of BAU process for finished trailers especially around the furnace area since I have read many owners' comments about furnace failure soon after pickup due to dust and fuzz getting trapped on the sail switch?

Not a very subtle question of course but I felt maybe with more owners asking the question it could catch ETI's attention a bit? And the answer I got back was very positive:

It has been cleaned but the final cleaning isn’t done until the day before your orientation.

My trailer looked pretty clean when I picked it up and for the 11 days it took me to drive back home I used the furnace every night and there was no problem. So I believe ETI did do cleaning for my trailer after completion. Super clean it wasn't but it was clean enough.

Clean prior to orientation

Thank you both. I've asked about seeing my trailer the day before orientation and the response was kind of wishy-washy. We have reservations at BW between completion and orientation so we should be able to inspect then, like you did, Jim.
