Pick-up Day - May 8th, 2019

As always fantastic experience with Escape. We had orientation from 830-1030, then we hired Euro Driving School to meet us at Escape and take us out for towing training from 1030-230.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw them. I was blaming a short photographer, but once I got beside it I couldn't see them either

Interior choices

Travdes,

Beautiful 21. Would you mind sharing your floor, counter and fabric choices? Thanks in advance and safe travels.

Thanks its was an interesting first towing session. Had a few times where the Sorento seems to struggle shifting gears on hills but Im sure it's something I'm doing wrong. Although one time it got stuck in first and we had to climb the hill going 12km per hr

Lisa, I hadn't seen anyone else mention this, but when you add a sliding drawer under the 21's bed (like the sliding drawer from RV Widget Works), the drawer itself pretty much blocks access to the rest of the considerable space still remaining under the bed unless you pull the drawer all the way out and away from the bed. An additional door on the side, or on the 45 degree angle, gives you access to all that remaining space while leaving the sliding drawer in place. After having our 21 for about a year, we ordered an additional door from ETI and did a DIY install so my wife could still store her hiking boots, etc. in a couple baskets under the bed, accessed through the added side door. I hope that helps... Dale

I would never buy another Escape product. Their product is fraught with problems and the staff is sub-par at best. Tammy and her daughter could use some Dale Carnegie courses in customer appreciation.

Which goes to show that opinions and experiences differ. I found the Escape staff very helpful and friendly in all my dealings with them. And my trailer, almost 4 years in, is not fraught with problems at all. Everything still works like it should.

My RAV4 has gone in for service and maintenance every six months for eleven years now. I have no problems with it. I wonder how many people buy trailer and expect it to never have an issue ever after, regardless of maintenance.

It would be helpful to know what the nature of your issues have been? Is it with the build quality of the trailer or the components in it or the follow up issues?

Our own experience has been that although Escape is not perfect, (and who is) we’ve always been able to satisfactorily resolve any issues. We do know from talking to Reace that his biggest issues are component quality and he gets hugely frustrated from components that fail and is always trying to improve.

In the interests of full disclosure, we are just into our second Escape.

I'm sorry you are experiencing problems, but our interactions with ETI and staff have all been positive from the get-go, and we would purchase another new Escape in a heartbeat. You list yourself as a "soon to be owners" and your camper as a 2017 model, so I assume you are buying, or have recently bought, a used Escape. As someone requested above, I too would be curious to know more specifics about your problems (who, what, where, when; photos?) and the circumstances regarding your purchase of what I'm assuming is a used Escape travel trailer. Best of luck moving forward...

My escape is one year old tomorrow. I’ve had two problems—1. An insulated back window has condensation between the panes. A new one was sent within a couple weeks to my door. 2. Two led lights flicker. New ones delivered to my door.

Exceptional service and neither product is created by eti. Components, as mentioned above.

Add our names to the very satisfied column.

If you are really unhappy with it, I am sure you could sell your Escape in a matter of days and get a good percentage of your investment back. Then you could buy something that you may like better.

Here is how mine look with the Sylvania Mosaic LED kit. It was a fun project!
