To Abbotsford (YXX), I assume, since that's where Flair tickets bought through NewLeaf go in the area; I've flown through there on WestJet. Abbotsford is handy for those headed to Chilliwack because it avoids the drive through Vancouver (from YVR), but there isn't much competition in the rental car business there... and thus the hundred bucks for a day for most cars. It does look like there are currently three companies (Enterprise/National, Hertz, and Avis), and you should be able to get a car for $60 (all fees and taxes in) if you don't mind driving something like a Kia Rio.

Usually use Costco Travel to rent cars. Checking Costco Canada I see a Fullsize car for $49. https://www.costcotravel.ca/h=3002

" Newleaf " - air carrier - that is really inexpensive . Guess that may be better considering all stuff that can be on the highway in January .

I have flown into Abbotsford a few times. I love it when it takes 5 minutes to deboard and get to the luggage carousel, only to have your bags there first.

My wife went on an Air Miles spending spree lately to use up points that will disappear at the end of the year. She used her remaining points to rent me a Rav4, as I will need to pick up a parcel that is about 30"square.

Our last trip there I forgot to reserve a car, and none are left at the airport. The last place in town I phoned, one that mostly rents panel trucks had one case left, a Dodge Charger. Whew...

One of these days I am going to check out reserving through Costco.

Gray color scheme

We are considering a gray color scheme, but we would like to see how it looks with the wood interior. If anyone has decorated their Escape in a gray color scheme, we would appreciate seeing pictures of it.
Thanks, Rick and Vicky Reed

Ours will be - grey tone vinyl on floor, black counter tops and grey fabric on seats and matress cover with various colors in accent pillows and cornice boxes. However it will have standard cushions when we pick it up. We're having Clifton Upholstery in Waco (they do Casita's upholstery) do ours because they will do cording/piping on the edges and we can't get that from ETI. They will also do the cover for our mattress. So, my however leads to when it will be complete and we'll have pics to help you out. We'll take delivery in Jan but by the time we get it to Texas and have it re-upholstered it will be late March. If that's not too late for you we will post pics so you can see those combinations. We were in Chilliwack and laid a piece of the greytone vinyl next to the cabinets - seemed to look good. Sarah told us ETI almost chose our selection as their standard floor. This pic shows it a little more "blue" than it actually is - but it's close.

LBaranyai did a beautiful job with a gray color scheme. Here are her pics:

Anything goes with the wood interior IMHO. There has been every color scheme and then some!

There is some flooring that is too close in tone and texture to the cabinet material. Some wood like vinyls do that. That said, you are right, most products will match, for sure.

The walls vinyl is super easy to match with, that is an excellent colour to use.

Well, I suppose, but he is asking about gray and the wood is not at all gray. I can't say that anyone has managed to "goof it up" but maybe there was someone you have seen. Seems we have seen about every color out there.

Hi Dave, you will love your 21. We are not too far from you (Canyon Lake). I noted your upholstery place in Waco. I have already redone my cushions and I could have sewn in the piping. I just didn't have the time. Since I have tons of fabric left, I can always take everything in and have them redone. See you at a future rally? Good luck.
