Looking good Patricia! Did you get the larger Fridg?
We picked our 17B up on Aug 4th and just arrived back to New Hampshire last night. What a fun trip and we loved meeting everyone at ETI and putting names with faces. A trip to Yellowstone and the Tetons was a highlight for us.
Keep the pictures coming.

What a wonderful trip on your way home. Have yet to visit Yellowstone or the Tetons.... on the list for sure I decided to go with the 3cu frig - given my camping mo this should be more than adequate for me. Now I am counting the days!

How long does ETI take these days to build a trailer? It's now 8 days until the completion date on my build sheet, but still no photos! I keep checking my inbox, but no joy. [emoji26]

My orientation isn't until Sept 7; do they ever delay completion because they know they have time before the orientation?

I've gotten two emails and/or phone calls about issues, but no photos. Reace called over two weeks ago, I figured he was reviewing the build sheet. Then I got an email about a cabinet thing, but I figure they must do the cabinet shells outside the trailer.

I've gotta a serious case of cantwaitnomore.

Sigh!

ReagentGrade, I believe my completion date is 9/7 or 9/11. I don't recall which and don't have my build sheet handy. I'm letting them deliver it so I have been more focused on the delivery date, which I am waiting to hear about.

You should probably start getting pictures any day now. I'm sure they wouldn't mind you inquiring on status though.

I noticed you are getting the 5.0TA. It looks like a really neat unit. If I was currently in a truck, I might have gone that route. I "think" this is the best place to share build pics so I'll post the ones I got today. If these should go elsewhere, someone please let me know.

John

It's Friday! - 2017 and beyond!

Hi John,

They're moving along pretty fast on your new baby.

I believe they build them in batches of like trailers. So "my" batch my still be in the fiberglass shop. I hope so!

The first trailer I used was a '79 Scamp 13 which I rented for a FB trailer rally. At the last minute DW added my two grandsons to the excursion. Needless to say, we were packed in pretty tight! But that weekend was a revelation. Instead being a tiny trailer that was poorly renovated by a guy who wasn't an RVer, I saw it more as a hard sided tent with a heater, stove and sink. That made it kinda swanky

We toured a Scamp 19 5er and then the first 5.0 TA in Texas. It was love at first sight. DW was rightfully reluctant to commit a bunch of money to a trailer when we weren't sure we'd like RVing. Less than three weeks later, I saw an ad for an '87 Bigfoot 5er. (I hadn't even know BF ever made fifth wheels.) We bought it and I drove it about 25,000 miles in 25 months. On Aug 5, 2016, we ordered this trailer. It's hard to believe we're almost there.

15 days, 15 hours until orientation!

Rich

NORMALLY you get pics about a month before completion. Now there's that orientation date that mixed in. I BET they're moving production around based on orientation and trailers that are being DELIVERED. Why delay a delivery when someone isn't going to pickup their trailer for six more weeks? But what do I know...

Interesting journey from the Scamp and Bigfoot to the Escape. I've camped over the years in tents. In fairly recent years bought a slightly used Livin Lite 10.0 tent camper, then a friends 27' Winnebago. I have missed over a year of camping while waiting for the 19 so I'm ready to get back out there and enjoy it.

You have probably read a lot of Donna's comments on her 5.0TA. She knows her 5er well

Donna,

I can't argue that it doesn't makes sense to delay delivery to complete a trailer for someone who won't pick it up for six weeks.

But, but, but... 8 AM on Sept 7 is only 15 days, 13 hours, and 35 minutes from now.

Rich

You sound really anxious. Can't blame you.. I was an early adopter of the 5.0TA, long before molds were even built. I'd call... pant, pant, pant

I'd definitely contact them and ask for pics. My completion date is Sept 22 (30 days from today) and I just got word that the trailer has entered production. In an e-mail from Meagan in customer service she states, "Once your trailer enters production it is in the fiber glass shop for the first stage and we are unable to get photos during this stage. Once your trailer makes the move to production shop you will start receiving daily photos of your trailers progress."
Not sure how long it takes in the fiberglass shop before moving to the production floor but it seems you should be seeing some photos by now...

I sent Joldie an email last night. Maybe the photos have been going to the wrong email.

Bah, it's just another trailer, Rich.

But for you, only the most important one they have made to date, eh?
