Escape must place the fire extinguishers right at the exit as per code. The code is there for a good reason. But like most, I have never had the need to use it.

That's the difference between the 19' layout and the 21'. The bathroom door on the 21' is where you installed the fire extinguisher on the cabinet of your 19'.

My fire extinguisher is right there at door exit , not in the way . With new door it is in the way . That would be the first item I would remove to another place and not near the floor . Pat

On the 21' that's about the only place it can go. Unless you wanted to mount it to the upper cabinet, right by the door. I looked quickly through the It's Friday - The Classics, but couldn't find any finished 21' that showed that area of the floor, but I'm thinking it's been placed there all along for the reason I mentioned earlier.

Hi Donna found a picture . It's Friday 2017 and Beyound #83 pictures . Instead of right there in the way when you walk in trailer better on the other side of cubbies . Not in the way of doorway but at exit . Pat

Okay that would work, as long as you have cubbies. Just move it from one side of the doorway to the other. Those that have convinced ETI they don't want the cubbies in the new style 21, will probably need to leave it where it is.

Yep . If you didn't want the cubbies Charley (tractor's 1 ) has another solution . But not a great idea where it is at , also though wouldn't want it higher up either .The doorway now in 17 ,doesn't have we call it , air lock as the classic . That is where ours is located and better placement to be on that side . Pat

Cubbies now standard in the new 21. Apparently cannot be deleted either.

Thanks for sharing the pics. I see the solar panel in the first pic, but don't see the controller, which is typically to the left of the upper kitchen cabinet door. Is ETI is changing the location of it's placement?

I received an email saying that the cubbies that I ordered are now no charge - they are standard. Also, the new 21' will not include a privacy curtain.

2017 17B almost completed!

It's been a year since I placed my order and lots of things have changed. From 2016 classic to 2017 new model which I had the option to select.
These are my final photos sent from Escape to me!
Hope you enjoy my new 17B as much as I do. Can't wait to pick it up!! Sept 21!
I never added photos so I hope this works correctly.
Included is a photo of the narrower aisle if you order the 4 cu ft frig as I did.

2017 17B almost done!

Glad I could help! I know that there were several people that had to decide on keeping the 4 cu ft or changing to the 3 cu ft.

A few more photos to check out! It is exciting when they start sending you photos of your trailer as they are making it!

Thanks for more pics! That fridge and the cupboard door underneath look a lot wider than the 2016, or is it just me? I seem to recall something about losing 4" in the 2017 over the 2016??
