Photos - April 17th, 2019

Learned a valuable lesson today to look at the build sheets in detail before signing. The last build sheet we received on Jan 21st had the front window/rockshield. The next one we received and I had signed had it missing. I was wondering why the new photos today had no front window.

Hopefully, I'll learn to like it

Yes, I had a similar issue. I assumed that the window in the bath was standard on the 5.0 since it was on all the demos in the show room and in the pictures on the web site. Then I was comparing the original options list to my build sheet the day of signing and caught it at the last minute. (We signed at ETI) Otherwise I would not have a bath window.

Although, now that you bring it up, none of my build photos are from that side of the trailer. I think I will ask for some driver side photos!

Final Build Pictures - 5.0 TA

Wow! I just received my final build pictures almost a week before the original scheduled completion date of April 23rd! We are sticking with our 4/24 Orientation even though we could move it up. But is is exciting to know it has moved to QC and cleaning. (I want QC to have plenty of time to do their inspections! )

These photos show the colors better than the prior ones taken indoors.

One of the photos is the 1500 W inverter under the passenger side bench. Another is the Coax above the radio in the cabinet to the right of the door as one is facing inside. It will connect to my interior cell repeater antenna.

That's a nice fabric.....light enough and also will hide small spills. Looks great with the new lighter wood, too.

One week til you can drive it away!

Thanks! The fabric is "Soothing Mulberry" FAB-8865 from JTS Outdoor Fabrics in Canada. The counter tops are Formica "Colorado Slate" 7014-34

We ordered samples before we found out about the Maple option. Then we visited ETI and our samples looked better with the maple than with the oak. We are really happy with our choices and can't wait to see them in person!

Nice! What are the black and white round outlets on the right rear near the battery vent?

The black one is a ZAMP port to plug in my Portable Solar Panel. The white one is a Coax port that feeds my WeBoost cellular amplifier. The exterior Antenna on a telescoping pole will connect to that port. These were both additional cost add-ons.

Why can’t they just cut the window opening out? Is the mold different? It is worth asking.

It would be easy for you or I but they use a jig that will not fit on once the lights and belly band has been installed...but it is worth asking.

I considered it, but I spoke with my wife and we decided to be content with it. The front window was something we wavered on when building the sheet, she was/is more indifferent to it than I.

Ah thanks. I’m going to do a similar cell port after delivery and was thinking of the same location.

OMG - I hadn't thought of 67 for a while (and that's probably just as well). We were bursting at the seams to attend Happening 67 at the summer's Minneapolis Aquatennial. The bands that day/night were: Jefferson Airplane (with Grace Slick), Buffalo Springfield, Shadows of Night, Electric Prunes, and Moby Grape showed up. It was an "electrifying experience", to say the least.

Enjoy,

Perry

I learned today that they had to shuffle the production schedule due to the fire. That is why my 5.0 was completed almost a week early. They had to do things in different order than normal to make sure everyone got their trailers in time. They have been scrambling to make sure everyone is taken care of while dealing with the fire's aftermath. A tribute to the director of operations to manage all that. Well done ETI!
