I really thank Alf for the drawer insert idea..

We did go down to Home Hardware in Osoyoos after I saw yours and love it--It's what I wanted and now gives me 2 layers in that drawer..

As for dish drainers--I have the small RV one found at Walmart--but usually just put the rack inside a metal tray (to catch the water) and lay it on the stove cover over to the sink...(one of us is messier than the other doing dishes!)

rbryan4, the sunbrella fabric in Cafe Egg is called Bravada Salsa. Very similar indeed...

We have been using those since we picked up the trailer in 2009. They sure do work great for double layer storage, as nothing is very deep that goes in those drawers.

My wife bought on just like that a month ago, and we have used it once. She is big on it, and it does work, but for me I would just as soon keep using a tea towel to put the washed dishes on. Has worked for us for a couple decades now.

I have to add my vote for the microfiber dish drying mat. Works fantastic and it's amazing how much moisture it can hold and how fast it dries. Packs up really nice too.

Frankly, I wouldn't care what anyone uses... if they're willing to do the dishes!

And if the fridge gets too cold, you can hang the microfiber mat over the fridge vent.

Felicity is taking shape - picked up the rear camera, stereo, and formica this week. ETI was ok with moving the antenna coax down underneath the cabinet next to the stereo; had that angled so a remote could control it from the bed or thru the entry doorway.

Flat love the 21's! Nice, nice trailer layout that is prefect for a lot of people. Besides, it's an Escape... what's not to love?

Friday, Friday, Friday is my favorite day!

We picked up our Escape 21 on July 21 and couldn't be happier with the end result! We had a fantastic 19 day trip to Chilliwack and back--arrived home on the 30th. I will share a trip report in another thread, but wanted to post a few pictures on this thread.

We absolutely love the u-shaped dinette! And really like how the fabric turned out--and yay to my mom for the wonderful pillows!

And thank you Reace and Tammy for accomodating our request for cubbies over the bed! Better than we imagined! And thanks to Rick for making it happen!

And safely at home! Not too bad of a parking job given that neither of us had towed a trailer prior to this trip! We had lots of practice on the journey home!

A trip report will be coming later...stay tuned!
