Thanks Ian, we're very excited now that it's sitting there waiting for its family. I know you guys are also waiting for your pickup of the Grape Escape. Alas, we have no buttercup to gawk at in the interim.

One week to go

Can't wait to hit the road in just about 10 days.
Just one week from today until we are in Chilliwack for our orientation. Leaving Wednesday, we are so excited! I think the weather is going to be pretty good for the trip considering late January. Can't wait to bring another Escape to Oregon. Unfortunately, the carport I'm building for "Acorn" is not quite ready, so she might have to spend a little time out in the rain.

Bandon Buddies

Does that mean that there will be more than one Bandon Escape?

I think there should be a rule that anyone picking up in Sumas and heading south on I-5 must drive by my house to say hi and to show off their new Escapes...

Bandon Escapes

I don't know them, but I read that Grant and Kathy from Bandon have a new 21 ordered for next August. Also, The Oregon Gathering at Bullards Beach Park in Bandon will bring a bunch of Escapes in July. Escape is well represented. I know it is only 2 miles away from me, but I'm sure that I will pull Acorn over for next years rally. I don't want to seem like a fiberglass schizophrenic, but if I attend the Oregon Rally in July, I will have attended over the years with a Scamp16, a Scamp13, a Bigfoot 21, and finally an Escape 17. What's next? I just love those fiberglass trailers

My son lives out in Nooksack which is just south of Sumas. They see the new ones rolling by all the time. If I spotted one, I would be quick to yell STOP and show me!

That would be great! Perhaps inside and outside photos could be taken so those of us a bit farther away could share.

Donna: Dance again!

Velocity is beginning to look like we envisioned it.

Wonder which one of the 4 camping tents we will sell...

Been thinking about trailer names, never thought of such a thing in the past. So here's what we have come up with: Mick Pick Chick chick Chilliwack! Lol!

It's originally from a kids book or cartoon, my Son would say it all the time when he was 3 or 4 years old. The original goes like this: mick pick chick chick whaka backa. Still cracks me up to this day!

Grant: My apologies for not hitting the 'reply' button earlier. (Just spent the last week swapping computers. Brought everything to a stand still.)

Not only is your friend's blog interesting, but I have bookmarked it and am in the process of reading every word. It is quite enlightening, especially since we were down in Big Bend over some of the same period. We probably bumped into them at some point. Our application is in to park headquarters for next winter/spring.
Maybe our Escape will be the first to park in the volunteer housing area!
