We notice a cooling difference when our refrigerator is in the sun during the afternoon. Now I have another option to an awning for the fridge wall although it would be easier to add an awning than to pull the fridge and insulate.

Linda from WA has Escape number 5 and has been there from the beginning so no one is going to ever catch her! A 17', 13', 19' and don't know what else and now has a 5.0.

Well then, let me congratulate Linda and Pete on helping make Escape a success.

Crazy folk, they are, but maybe that is why I enjoy seeing them at the rally.

Actually, I think Linda had a lot to do with many of the improvements on Escapes. She has talked to Tammy and Reace a great deal.

Thanks for the new pictures Joanne. Debbie and I were going to ask Reace to modify the bottom cabinet doors to drawers, but the pictures clearly show the depth and width of the wheel wells would prevent that. Only room for the shallow floor storage.

Cheers

The shallow wheel well cabinets make a great place for tall skinny stuff storage.

Thanks Charlie, I really like your designs. As we get closer to our build date in July, I will be contacting you for some goodies.

Thanks and Cheers

Bill, congratulations on the new trailer!

Hit the reply, then write a couple of words. Scroll down to manage attachments. Then try to upload your photos. You have to wait while they each upload. You can preview your post.

You could have the stock door hinged on the bottom, and attach a bin to the back of the door so that when you pivot the door open partway, the bin is accessible from the top. This would be like a common sink front tip-out tray, but taller (and would only need ordinary hinges).

The bin could be plywood, or someone talented like Charlie could build something in moulded plastic to use all of the available space. It might need a top latch to stay closed over bumps in corners, depending on proportions. This would have the convenience of a drawer, but suit the space better.

Update:
This is closer to what I am picturing in proportions and hardware: tilt out trash bin

If you are not posting build pictures, could the next person to post about bins, or storage solutions or whatever, please start a new thread on that topic?
I considered spitting this thread to try to get it back on topic, but it's too interwoven.
Appreciate that.
