Thanks. Once I get it I'll be doing some summer weekend shakedown trips for practice. Thinking one to New Brighton State Beach, so would be close to you. I'll let you know when I have set plans.

New Brighton Beach! We used to tent camp there, over 30 years ago...... Beware of party-crashes from the north......

21 Complete!

Yay! Here are the final pictures. Now we just have to wait until the end of March to go get it. Feel like a kid at Christmas!

Yay! Party time, party time, party time!

Lovely fabric and countertop choice. What color Formica? We're going with basalt slate, which is black.

And how many days until pick up? You'll be counting it down each day and night.

Oh, I noticed two solar panels on the roof, correct? I didn't know ETI did that. Not that we're getting the panels (not at build, at least), but was curious about that.

Yes, we went with two panels. Maybe overkill but we're planning to full time and do a fair amount of boondocking. I'll have Julie tell you the formica choice. I don't remember. I leave color to her. Life is better that way. :-)

I think if you drop the antenna option, there is room for 2 panels on both the 21' and 5.0...

That's right. We don't have an antenna.

New stock Formica to go with new flooring

Just talked with Tammy. They have my new 'stock' flooring in now. She said it looks great. My trailer is the first they have put it in.

She'd called since after looking at it they were thinking the stock Formica looked too 'busy' and wanted to try a potential new stock Formica - they'd order and put in if I agreed. I already had the darker banding selected and the stainless steel stove and sink. They'd been kicking it around the office, Reace though the stock was ok and they told him no

They think the Mineral Olivine 3447-58 would be good. I have no design sense so defer to their judgement and said go ahead.

Since I'm not able to pick up till late April I'm guessing mine might be a 'display' model for awhile

Tammy sent me a photo of the installed flooring early from the standard photo email this week. You can see a few of my other options: the larger fridge, moved the microwave over under the stove, and moved the two drawers over to the center (I stole that idea from MarksALot )

Weird, can't find that color anywhere on the Formica site, but it pops up on other sites when you do a google search. Wonder if it's so new it's not on the Formica site or it's been discontinued. Something they should check into before offering it as a new standard.

Love the "It's Friday thread". thanks so much for your photos. I didn't know there was an option for two panels. If you really want an antenna, I think that could perhaps be moved further back so that it sits along side the AC. On the other hand, last week we spent 3 days in Death Valley, 1 day on the road, followed by 3 days in Joshua Tree. All without hook ups. We haven't used our 12v LED tv this week, but the batteries have been "full" every time I looked at them.

Normally if you have a lot of solar capacity for "off grid" camping, there will not be any television signals to pick up. Cable and hook ups are synonymous.
