Can anyone get a picture of the rear, head on, to verify the spare location in the new models?

My 17A (circa Sept, 2015) has the spare offset to the left (driver side). I thought that it was to balance the rear, due to having the larger Group 29 12V battery on the right.

In the middle is too symmetrical. Nice to have the spare off to the side.

Am ok with it- never thought too much about it. Wonder if there is anything to the weight distribution aspect.

As I recall, at least some 17's have had the spare substantially off-centre to balance the single battery (while an otherwise similar dual-battery trailer would have it centred).

For an entirely different reason, some trailers have had the spare slightly off-centre (hard to see except directly from the rear), so the bracket which supports the spare can attach to the bumper to one side of the bike rack receiver tube; for an example see this post by JohnB of an installation on a 15 Foot:

Other models (19' and 21') appear to have a similarly offset spare mounting design.

In looking at my pictures, none directly from the rear, it looks like the tire is very slightly to the right of center. But the tire mount is directly on top of the receiver tube.

I'm going to ask Erin to take one directly from the rear for the next batch

And the last batch part 1

Looks like just about done. Erin said so and sent the last batch of files. Only thing I see missing is the cabinet door under sink.

I was wrong when I said earlier that my rear tire was mounted on the receiver tube. Optical illusion from the angle in prior pictures. The new pics, though no full on rear view, show the mounting is about the same as Brian's pic of the 15 above. Just to the right of center.

A big batch, 15 shots.

The two extra light switches were 1: interior light, 2: front and drivers side exterior

I got the tv ready option but had it mounted on front drivers upper cabinet. My ultimate plan once retired and making longer trips is to make a shelf that sits on the drivers dinette bench and put a large tv, game console, bluray player etc there for entertainment center. This would be for longer trips where I go visit friends like in Yuma and stay a month or so. When traveling I'll put down the table and have tv on the cushions. With the U shape dinette I can still seat a few people if need be. I'll be traveling solo.

Can see some of the other options. Storage box, electric jack, the electrical hatch on front drivers side,

Now the wait till orientation on April 26th

Jeff

Are they not installing a door for the area under the sink? If not, why?

Looking good!

What I always ask if my customers, is to save all these kind of questions until we say we are done. It saves lots of time for us.

There will be a door, but I bet a buck it was left off to him up the plumbing easier. We always remove the cabinet doors when plumbing under a sink.

There is suppose to be a door there. As Jim said I think they just have it off till all work finished. Also possible the door wasn't finished yet. With the modification to move the two drawers over that probably ended up a custom size door.

I'd swiped this idea from MarksAlot and he had a door there, I had taken a picture of his and sent that to Escape when I first asked about this modification.

Wow, what a snotty answer to a simple question - I'm not impressed at all. From the photos it sure looks like the trailer is done. All of the other doors are on. So, it would be easy to think it was left off for a reason.

This is a much better answer and thank you for that. Those of you on this list for a long time and especially those much more familiar with the layouts of the trailers - you need to remember that not everyone has that same level of knowledge. The best way to learn is to ask - least that's what I've always been told.

SAY WHAT?

I share something, and you dump on me. You could use a bit better of a disposition there. Sure glad my customers are more understanding, and appreciate my help. Sheesh.......

I believe NW Cat Owner took issue with your statement "What I always ask if my customers, is to save all these kind of questions until we say we are done. It saves lots of time for us." as that is what she specifically quoted. Perhaps she feels that she is not your customer and didn't appreciate the implication that she should not have asked the question. Maybe the second part of your reply was helpful, but the first part, not so much.
