Hoping October will be like some of our past few years. Primo camping weather and lots of room at campgrounds. The trailer is going to get lots of use this Fall!
Hi kendo, is that the stock Formica with black trim?

Formica

That is a custom choice called Himalayan Slate. We actually didn't mind the stock formica but once we picked out a fabric, we were drawn to this color/pattern of formica. I went to the Formica website and had a few samples sent to help decide. They did that for no charge.

Also....

ETI send us samples of cabinet material, wall covering, and flooring. That helped out a bunch also. You just have to request it.

Great choice in formica Kendo. That's what we chose for our Classic 21' delivered in May. It goes so well with the wood and fabric. We absolutely love it!!!!!! And the black trim just sets it off.

Finally! Some Pics

Boy has it been a long year and an even longer summer for us but finally the month of Sept. arrived and we've received pictures and now also know when our new 5.0TA will be completed and shipped and an approximate deliver date. This has been a fun process and we need to thank the forum contributors for all of your posts because you helped us make our decisions. We decided to follow the "go big or go home" plan and went with custom flooring, counter and fabric. So here goes, we've got all the pictures except the final ones which show the fabric and the "ready to go" trailer.

Really like the flooring. Looks like oyster slate.

Thanks for the reference. We are going to install some Allure vinyl plank flooring eventually to replace the stock sheet vinyl. One of the colors we're considering is called Harrison Slate, similar to the Armstrong color.

vinyl planking

Does the planking go right over the existing floor or do you take up old (new) floor ? I too would like to put in vinyl planking seems like the best thing for the RV .
BTW they have upped production and we are getting ours in Oct. So ypours should be right near ours right ?Jim

We are using that same Allure in our Scamp 19 restoration and it looks very nice with the wood cabinetry.

I was just wondering what options did you get? Is the stainless stove and stove vent an option? did you get the stock windows? Does the window over the dinette table and over the bed slide open? I think we want sliding windows on ours?

Almost there....

Here are the final batch. The trailer is not 100% done yet but very close. Some items are getting done at orientation such as the table pedestal.

ETI is installing our handles on the four drawers and then I will do the rest. At this time we are just over 2 weeks ahead of our predicted completion date so hat's off to the hardworking crew at ETI.
Might see if we can get an earlier orientation/pick up date?

Hope the pics helped the newbies see how it all rolls out in production, even though most will be getting the 2017 model. The process will be similar and soon ETI will be in the brand new production facilities. I know for myself it was exciting to see people post their build pics and then hear back later on their thoughts.

Cheers,
Ken
