I believe that all of the hours-of-work regulations apply to the driver, not the vehicle, so a big enough team could keep a vehicle in constant motion. The catch might be whether or not resting in a moving vehicle is a sufficient break for a driver; also, the truck's facilities (the size of sleeper) must be adequate.

Three full driving days with two drivers in shifts sounds adequate for 2500 miles, but that's only a guess.

https://cms.fmcsa.dot.gov/regulation...ce-regulations

For non-passenger freight - max 11 hours driving then 10 hours off. So they could drive straight through. But there are some other rules (60/70 hours in 7/8 days) that will apply eventually. And some non-driving on-duty limits.

I have not looked into what happens if there is no sleeper berth in the cab. There *may* be additional rules that I apply. (As a school bus driver I never had a second driver so I was limited to the basic on duty/driving hour limits.)

Bailey should arrive in Maryland on Thursday or Friday! Woohoo...of course I don't yet have a concrete slab ready for her. I am in trouble.

I thought I was picking up my 5er on June 30 and it wasn't until I visited ETI in April that found out that was a long weekend in BC. D'oh! All is good, I'm adaptable.

Safe travels home Mark, you've made a memory!

Yes. Memories are being made on this trip. Great weather until tonight. Raining pretty hard. Actually is soothing hearing the rain on my 19. Been a while since I've seen or heard rain. Pretty dry in central CA. I like it.

Pleasurable trip and am impressed with BC. Hope to make it back some time soon.8)

Glad you are having a good time. I'm sure it is nice and cozy inside. Send us some of the rain and think about staying north for a little bit as it is supposed to be in the 100's starting Monday.

NEARLY ALL GROWN UP! One week from today and I will have already spent that very first glorious night. Cleaned up nicely, huh? Can't wait to see final, final pics with the upholstery in place. All my other pictures look like previous ones posted by others. I'll save the forums bandwidth. EXCITED!

Sandra, I needed to do something to gain back some counter space. The prep sink is nearly 1/3 wider than the ETI bar sink... and deeper. I've purchased a large wooden cover for the stove. That will help too.

A Loop tours are 10am to Noon on Saturday... or come by anytime and if I'm "home" I'll give you a private tour

I drove by Bullards Beach State Park yesterday and I am pretty sure I saw billboards up announcing Donna D's arrival dates and the times for the tours of her 5.0TA.

I think the signs said admission would be $5 person for the tour.
