You may want to update your avatar so we may know which model we are observing, thanks.

Hello Bill and Ann-Marie,
We are Greg & Linda, and just ordered a new 21. It looked from the posted photos of your trailer that you may have raised the seat height in the dinette. If so, has this worked out well for you? Or, if not, have you experienced any difficulties enjoying the view? My wife is about 5' 3". Thank you . . . Greg.

I agree, Charlie and Cathryn looked at our 21. I told them I sent the required yardage for a repeat pattern and was given back about 4 yards of fabric that 'wasn't used'. I think they need to refine the yardage requirements. That is a significant amount. How many yards did Cathryn send?
PS Your trailer is looking great!

Hi Greg,
Welcome to the forum...
Norma is 5'3" and doesn't have any trouble seeing out with the standard dinette, well, when she looks up

Hello Winblade--
We raised the floor in the dinette 4 inches in our 19. We have not picked it up yet so I can't tell you how it works but many others have. We were influenced by a discussion on this board under Escape News there is an excellent thread about dinette height. The thread is titled: Dinette height - 21 vs. 19 . I don't know if you 21 owners have the window height problem but the bunk option in the 19 makes the windows too high for comfortable viewing.
We also spent money making a u shaped dinette rather than the stock parallel benches. The raised floor, custom fabric and the u shape should make the dinette a special room. This is what we wanted for our little house. Hope this answers your questions.

I asked about raising the floor on our 21. But was told that wasn't possible. When we pick it up, we will see how Lindy likes the dinette height. If it is too low, I will figure something out.

Are the dinettes the stock height and just the floor raised?

Not sure. I wanted the whole thing raised so that we would be higher relative to the windows.

Thanks Kathie; Cathryn sent 6 1/4 yards of fabric. She's trying to find a floor runner like yours now.

Everything is raised 4 inches, floor and benches. Adds a bit more storage too.
We sent 12 yards of fabric for the cushions. The U shape uses more but the repeat was an easy one so it should be plenty.

Great for you. Very early. Perhaps they are well ahead of schedule.

Skylark build week 4
It looks like the Skylark is nearly complete. The scheduled completion date is 9/24, but ETI says it will be ready early. Unfortunately, we can't pick it up until Sept. 25. But so looking forward to it.

Like the fabric and Formica choices. Nice cool blue.
