When we got our 21 I mentioned we could stuff the two Jack Russells through the door under the bed at night.......instant veto on that one!

Enjoy, we're taking ours on the maiden voyage tomorrow to the Oregon Coast.

Congrats! We wish you the best of travel enjoyment. I guess it would be too much to ask you to take some pictures of our Escape since we seem to have....errrr... missed getting our recent build photos

That sounds very similar to my trip to Chilliwack. Finding pet friendly hotels and ones that didn't charge $25/dog/day extra. Then getting scrutinized at the Canadian border after picking up the trailer to go camping in Canada. All worked out though and we had a grand time at Cultus Lake and Bridal Falls and the warm friendly people in Canada. Love my 19!

Great pictures Ian. Very interesting to see the bare starting point for the 19's interior.

Yes, just a little. Nice to see your shots as ours after the first week were a little ahead with the wall coverings already on. Good to actually see where all the anchor points are actually located.

Very Eggsciting Ian! As your Boler is absolutely stunning, I am wondering what you are going to do with and to your new one.

Thank you Sandra, nothing "over the top" with the build of our "Grape Escape", ETI does such an awesome job it is hard to improve upon. Although with saying that Rease and I had a number of long chats on possibilities, changes and what could be done and what couldn't (more couldn't than could). We are confident that when we take delivery everything will be exactly what we are looking for ... although who knows what the future will hold.

As for our Boler, we have no intention of selling it, we just have too much fun in it and have too much work and money invested. Our Casita will be for sale here soon.

Toto progresses

We're going to pick up Toto on October 21 -- sure is getting hard to concentrate on work. :-) Here are the pix Crystal sent us on Friday. Looks eerily similar to other 21's...

I'm headed up to Blaine, WA for my Nexus interview on the 11th. I'll be awfully close to Chilliwack. If they were open Saturdays I'd go by for noontime peek at the trailers, but I will just have to be patient.

What fun to watch these masterworks come together!

The Highlander pulls the 21 nicely. I use the standard WDH. I seeing about a mile or two drop on mpg when compared to pulling our former 19 Escape.

My only "problem" is with Toyota. The Highlander is rated for 5,000 lbs with towing packing. The towing package includes "pre-wired," which means you still need to get, i.e., buy, a converter and wire harness. The wire harness is for only a 4-wire setup. So there is additional wiring to be done to get the needed 7-wire setup. It's an easy job to add the needed wiring. You would think that Toyota would have given more thought of what a 5,000 lbs rated tow vehicle would require.

If you come up with a great wine rack I would love to see it I'm thinking that I need one in my 17.

Without a doubt a wine rack will be added...somewhere...I will have to figure that out after we take delivery.

Yeah we brought a lot of bottles home but I was pleased at the fit--(good to know for future wine tours at the rallies!)
