Beautiful looking 21'.
I love your choice of fabric and counter top, they match the fridge, sparkle and look very slick. The decal colour is also real classy. Excellent choices.
You should be excited. Have a great day.

Made it! Toto followed us home after we hitched up in Sumas - it was a quick dash to beat what was promised to be a drenching, breezy weather front. We got home just as the drops started to fall. The Frontier seemed to do fine and we had fun learning how to navigate roundabouts. And of course everyone at ETI -- Tammy, Reace, Rhonda, Crystal, Dennis & Joe -- were wonderfully helpful. Also, Ben the dog, don't want to leave him out.
We'll be camping in the driveway as soon as the raindrops slow down a little, then off to a nearby state park on the Hood Canal for our first short trip out whenever we get a couple of dry-ish days. Big fun!

Alf, yes, I felt I had to extend them to get a good look at the adjacent lanes. HOWEVER, we took a (Washington State) ferry on the way home and I decided, possibly wisely, to scoot them back in before boarding the ferry, where things get kind of narrow.
After we got on the ferry and we were crossing Puget Sound, I thought it would be okay to go ahead and extend them before exiting the ferry, since driving onto the boat hadn't been too difficult. WRONG. As usual, our lane was the last to exit the boat, and I had to cringe each time a car whooshed by us on the right as they exited, hoping they wouldn't hit my extended mirror.
They didn't. But I won't make that mistake again. Others, surely, but not that one.

It looks really great, Ian. Why does a young fellow like yourself have an electric jack though?
Are you doing the cushions yourself, or are they just not in yet. When are you picking it up?

I chose the electric jack so wifey can do everything needed to enjoy the trailer should I no longer be around - advance planning, this 21 is the last trailer we ever intend to buy and we assumed it will be serviceable for 20 years or so.

Thanks Jim, we are thrilled. The cushions are just not in yet (although I see a corner of them on the mattress). We had the cushions covered 100% with fabric rather than having the vinyl back, we have the vinyl installed on the back side in the Boler and wish they were all fabric so we could flip them. To protect the fabric from wearI will be installing carpet over the plywood on the seats.
Electric jack because of my back, I installed one on the Casita and it makes life so easy to hook-up and unhook the WDH, I am hoping the same is true for the Anderson system.
We are picking it up on our way out the the 2015 Escape rally

Electric jack makes it quite simple to hook up/unhook the Anderson by taking the tension off the chains. I like it far more than futzing with draw bars.

Good point about thinking ahead so the wife can handle the rig.
With the electric jack on the Casita we don't even need the lever to attach the WDH bars, I can raise the back of the truck/trailer to slip the bars in by hand. It is good to hear your experience is similar, Thanks

We'll be at ETI on Tuesday so we'll admire it for you
I see you weren't thrilled with the standard table pedestal either.

Are you keeping a secret from us Ron? (going to ETI?)
I HATE the typical table pedestal, have the legs pictured in my Boler and Casita, swapped it out of the Casita for the Escape.
Any pictures you take a very welcome

Yah, I wasn't thrilled with the pedestal the first time I sat in the demo unit. So I asked them to not install the table and I made my own pedestal. Much better without that annoying slop plus the inner tube was right where I want my feet to be.
Nah, no secrets, I'm happy with the 19, it's the right size for us. I'm picking up a piece of countertop arborite so that I can have the counter extension I built match the counter.
I see you have the front mounted light. Could be handy, might have to install one now.

Do you have to travel with your table folded into the down position or how do you prevent it from moving when on the road?
We think alike, as part of my order I had Reace include a 4'x4' piece of the laminate just in case I need it for future "modifications"

Finally Hatched
Seems like a long haul but we're excited to be picking up our newest trailer early next week. Now I'll have to finish shovelling five yards of gravel for a landing pad and trim a few branches on an extremely tight driveway.

Looks great Stew, all the work in preparing your "landing pad" will be well worth it.

I also have a tight corner on my drive and was surprised at how much easier it is to back around my 21 than my 17ft Casita; must have to do with the center of the axles being further back from the hitch.

Others have reported that too. Cornering/turning isn't as much of a problem as they thought. Of course, it is LONGER, so you'd need the depth.

Good to hear about the cornering capability! It will certainly be tested on this driveway. I can get our single-axle stock trailer in fairly easily and it's only two feet shorter than the Escape 19. Hopefully the "further-back" dual axles will also prevent touching the rear bumper on one particular dip -- but I'll take it easy on the first attempt. Again, thanks to everyone on this forum for some fantastic ideas during the build process as well as generating a list of modifications to come.
