It surely beats a "crawl under" to do the work on the underside of the trailer!
Looks like just a regular 4 post hydraulic lift. They're everywhere.

I was told the foam tank spray was subcontracted out by ETI but that they do paint it black upon return, perhaps that is what they are doing.

I don't think that's it ===as we did not order the foam.

That may have been true but I think they do their own now. After Osooyoos last year drove to ETI to have them foam the trailer. It only moved as far as to the backside of the shop. And they paint the foam with the same paint as the frame Reace told me.

Speaking of paint on the frame, does anyone know what the paint they use on the frame? Nice to know for TouchUp purposes.

Soon to be 17B

I thought I would post 2nd week pictures of my 17B. It will be ready 1/29/15. I haven't seen any posted pictures of a permanent bed in a 17B so these will show mine. This is our 4th fiberglass trailer with previous ones being a Scamp 13, Scamp 16, and Bigfoot 21. We're really excited about the Escape and can't wait to pick it up at the end of the month.

Ain't she a beauty? It may be your 4th fiberglass but it must be the most exciting since you can watch the build progress.

Yes, it is wonderful working with ETI. Everyone has been so nice and helpful. I remember first meeting Reace and Tammy at the Oregon Gathering in Bandon about 8 years ago. They were asking everyone what they wanted to see in a fiberglass trailer. They really listened and have built with the quality and options people want. What a simple concept, quality and customer service. No wonder ETI has such a backlog.

Dunno Pat. I'm on the road alot this month and next (business) and that helps distract me...lol. Plus, even though it's done on the 2nd, we won't be picking up until March 15th, so it's another 2 months!

Its not much - yet, but it's ours!

This one is ours! Fresh out of the mold. Due date is mid-late February. Collection however, is going to have to wait 'till May and snow-free driving over the Rocky Mountains, plus a little problem of retirement. I'm not sure which one I have more control over.
