The only thing that's better is when you get your Escape and can start RVing.

Thank you for all the compliments! I surprised myself with the red fabric since it's just about my least favorite color but I was really drawn to this fabric and it seems very "happy". I'm just giddy thinking about traveling in this. Can't wait!

Seems like a long wait for us to be able to post some meaningful pics of our newly completed Escape Goats, but here they are, finally. At first, we have this urge to point out the distinguishing features, like our outside shell is Robin's egg blue [just kidding!], but after a while we realized we take good comfort that so many Forum users think alike. We borrow each other's ideas freely because they work.
Probably the only distinguishing things you might be able to spot is the rear camera, on the outside early build picture, the single-handle kitchen faucet, and the raised dinette. Other than that, it looks about the same as all the others but, as Donna D reminded us, THEY'RE OURS!

It's Friday
Got these pics last Friday and they look like all the others, the only difference is there are mine. Just want to make sure I know how to do it before the final ones come out.

I was able to avoid the furnace issue since they had a few of the old heaters still in inventory and i was able to claim one. I may be the last 21owner with the original location!

Batcat and Ksitte--your trailers are looking great! We also chose the black trim on counter tops, like the contrast. The gold graphics look good, too. Was toying with that choice, as it would match the color of our tow vehicle, but wasn't sure how it would turn out. So went conservative with forest green. Glad there is a gold Escape out there~
All the best to y'all and your happy adventures!

Our 17B is in the pipeline! Since we don't have lots of modifications, I'll post the ones that we have customized.
For example, we reduced the closet space to gain some elbow room. I think it looks more airy than the original layout:

We had the forest green graphics on our 17b the last time. Thought we needed something different this time on the 19 and, after all, we are getting close to our "golden" years. Really though, the gold was the closest match to the mocha of the Honda Pilot.
We were about three weeks from our build sheet due date when I spotted the black trim on the countertops on the Forum. Again, borrowing from the ideas of others is easy when everyone is so willing to share. With the black trim on the fridge, it seemed like a nice match. And then we found a a mattress cover/protector also in black.
Only 29 days until we pick up Escape Goats!
Klaus

I really like the idea of reducing the closet depth. Much more roomy feel.
