What I like about all the build pics is that by observing those pics of the same model others have ordered, one can garner a LOT of details about the construction of your particular model - such as wiring routing, structural mounting blocks, framing - that you may not have received from ETI when they took your pics.

Well... you do get what you pay for. In defense of the other brands, not everyone wants to spend the money for an ETI custom build... they just want to go camping, be dry, be safe and aren't so concerned about Formica color or custom upholstery, etc., etc., etc.

There ARE starter sticks 'n bricks homes, just as there ARE starter all molded towables. There's room in the campground for all...

I'm in complete agreement with that except for one thing-- ETI trailers are VERY reasonably priced. A comparably equipped Casita (although it can't really be comparably equipped due to the lack of options) is only a few thousand less than an Escape, and the warranty and support are nowhere near as good. Here we get to have our cake and eat it too. If the Escape was say 10-15k more, the analogy would be spot on.

Yup. We are planning and plotting our trip to drop off The Lark with Fox hunt, then up to Chilliwack where we will get oriented (paying more attention this time than the first time). Then back to the midwest via the Canadian Rockies, Glacier, etc.

But surely we aren't the only trailer in production right now. Don't others have photos to share?

This is the 2nd Friday that ETI didn't email me pics - it's finishing the 3rd week of production, so thought we'd get to see some upholstery about now.....

Here is our new 19 under construction. There has been a lot of progress since last week. We'll be there to pick her up on Sept. 9th.[IMG][/IMG]

Ellentob, I notice you have a different kitchen window. I have seen the ones that open from the bottom up and out at an angle but not sure what yours does. Does it open straight up? Maybe I am looking at it wrong.

And I wonder what the other ones are called that open at an angle.
