I have had 2 deliveries with Dave from Escape, sometimes it can take awhile. But once he arrives all is forgiven and your new unit is unloaded. I hear he likes Italian food, I sent him to our local place for dinner on me, it has a large parking lot that can accommodate his truck and trailer.

New trailer and new grill
I know you'll be thrilled to see your trailer arrive and to get to break it in before the hunting season. I have had good luck with the camp chef grills. We had four or five of the explorers when I was a scoutmaster a few years back. Boy Scouts will field test any equipment to its fullest capability and the explorers never let us down. I currently use a tabletop Everest for my general camp duties. I also have a high output single burner that heats the oil very accurately for fish, fried potatoes and cannoli. Good luck with your new Escape, I'm sure you'll love it

Thanks Dave!
We're looking forward to it, we intended to go to a state campground for the first outing about an hour and a half away but we decided to go to the camp(31/2 hours)and get a few things done up there. We will stay in the trailer of course and I can plug into the camp for power.

We just bought new camp chairs and a few other things, oh and a new camp chef explorer grill that I've been wanting for a while now. The two cabelas camp chairs are for my son and I and are identical, but after he picked the one he wanted he insisted that I mark his so they wouldn't get mixed up! Lol!

Got my email yesterday too! So it looks like we are both on the same truck. A couple weeks later than my scheduled delivery, but happy it will be on its way!

Well of course he wanted them marked. That's HIS chair!
Congrats Emile. See? The time flew by faster than you thought.

Congratulations Linda. I know there was a lot of planning and sweating the details, but you are going to absolutely love your 19. That 2 weeks or so won't matter at all.

The cupboard at the nose of the bed is standard on the 21. My guess it will end up being a place to store extra blankets and\or pillows.

When we were looking at Escapes at the Bullards Beach Fiberglass Rally last year at the first Escape 21 we went into owned by Dave&Kathie. My wife (Kathy) walked into it first, she literally immediately said "this is the one, lets go give Tammy the deposit." I still hadn't even looked inside. The next Escape 21 we went into as I remember was the McKeeg's (sp?). They had the u-dinette with no table option. Since we were still early in our shopping for a new trailer, I insisted that we had to look at other brands of small trailers (silly me ). No matter what trailer we looked at Kathy always came back to "but, it doesn't seem as open and roomy as the Escape 21". Our 4 legged traveling companion (Molly) is a Golden Retriever so "roomy" is important.

I know I will! I guess the main driver has had a medical issue, so postponed my June delivery. Barb sent me an email indicating delivery was on its way this Sunday. Should see the trailer for first time next week, pics are great, but I want to put my hands on it!

D'oh you're right, what was I thinking? I'm having Escape withdrawals and memory issues. Haven't been inside one for a month!

If I would have known it was going to work out like this, I think I might have arranged to meet the truck in Ohio with you, Ohio would have been a lot easier and would have saved the driver a few miles.

Emile... We look forward to meeting you and your family. As we talked about before there are several campgrounds near us... Or maybe you can boondock in our driveway and we can have a campfire!

Our Thursday Photos this week
The solar panel is installed (one of the first with the new bolt on installation in the regular production line). Cabinet doors are in and the fabric we chose is now on the valences. She is getting very close to completion of 7/16. Our pick up date of 8/13 can't come soon enough!

I would sure like to see the differences (if any) between the factory build bolt-down on the Solar Panel vs the add-on "kit" install. I would think they can just bolt down the original rails, with no added hardware required. The insulation and ceiling liner would conceal any hardware.

I am interested in the solar installation as well. Crystal confirmed they would use to bolt on technique. I will post pictures once we take possession. Alas, August 13th can't come soon enough.
