Yes, Loren,
I spoke too quickly... we did get a few more pictures today. See attached.
Also, today was Charlie's last day of work! After a day of saying good bye to many people and a very nice retirement lunch.
On to the next adventure!!!
We look forward to seeing you guys in 3 weeks!

Congrats John! Looks great. Another 19 Texas bound. Happy times ahead. It's been almost half a year since we picked up, and all the little details of that trip still cross my mind every day. Enjoy!

If you notice the wire in photo#4 upper shelf, which feeds the bathroom wall light, that is a good source for adding lights to your closet. This is similar to the closet/bath I had in my 19' Escape. I ran led strips under each shelf over to a switch mounted on the closet outside.

Thanks Jim! Good to know... Charlie had 12 v drops put in a few cabinets, and hopefully the other ones will be able to be tapped into like you did!

Emile... we can almost feel the road! 11 more days till we hit the road with a mad dash to the west coast! The days are going by quickly... Almost packed!

Ellen... You are so right... Pitter patter goes the heart!! Can't wait to see it without all the building materials in the pictures!!
(would be nice if it were a 5er!)

17A build

I've been looking at this thread for the last ten months, being moderately excited whenever the photos are posted, analyzing them for tidbits of information, and thinking that I might get a little more excited at ours.
We just received our first photos, and I can't sit in my chair at work. They're just the shell on the frame, but ...It's really happening.

Here's a couple. The shell has the solar already installed, and the fender washers for the solar mounting are visible on the interior roof behind the framing for overhead cabinets.
It appears that the lower and upper frig vent openings are the same size for our 3 cu.ft. as the larger size frigs.

Edit: I can't believe this is really happening. Aaaaaah!

Edit #2: OK, I've settled into my chair. Analysis: looks like a 19 behind us. That would mean there's probably two trailer shells on frame and wheels ahead of us in the Quonset hut-tent out back.
