I assume so - I didn't order it. I use a wire cookie-cooling rack instead.

I see. A good idea if someone is in bed, while the spouse is heading in and out.

The sink cover is standard with all models and is the cut-out from the counter for the sink.

Not always; mine was too small and kept falling in the sink so I had to make a new one.

If you're doing custom formica make sure to ask ETI to give you the remnants after fabrication. Comes in a big sheet and they tuck the leftovers under your bed mattress. Otherwise it goes in their trash.

I had been hanging on to mine for over 6 years, and finally binned it, but it is not a bad idea to keep it, as it takes up little space stored with all your other sheet goods.

Thanks for the photo! Seeing other Escapes being built and outfitted helps us with the waiting. We're looking at Sept 2016 for our 21'. I bet you are super excited! Congrats!

Oh, How Wonderful it is. However, I will not let my wife see the size of the counter, least she want to upgrade from our 17 (to be done on 9/21) to the 21.

edit: Oh, OH: we just got photos; time to post...

Mary your trailer looks gorgeous! Love the fabric and the berry stripe. I will know you when I see you coming! Hope to see it in person. By the way, the curtain that goes over the door is a blackout curtain also. It is great also to pull over the screen in case you might want some privacy but your door still open. One of my favorite things!

Boy Don, that 17A looks huge inside without the bathroom.

Jim,
Yes, we're really liking how that front permanent bed area is shaping up. The photos of the 17A on ETI's website are of a much older version, with an angled jog over to the wardrobe/pantry.
We had only the verbal discussion with ETI about the fact that the bed would be straight across, and then have opening doors for under-bed access. It coming along just as we had envisioned.
It is tough sitting here at work and concentrating on work itself. And there's a half dozen people, at least, here in the city hall complex who would like to view the trailer some lunchtime (I've been told I have to bring it to work); they're following the build photos, and the other builds as well. There are a lot of comments about how ETI actually lets people know exactly how they build the Escape trailers.

Don,
That was confusing me when I looked at the 17A on the website. I really like the front bed being a uniform size now. Very nice.
