Thanks so much for the photos. As Donna said, the thread was starting to lag and we enjoy the photos so much. Your trailer is going to be ready before you know it. And then it is "Let the good times roll"

Nothing more exciting than getting those pictures of your new trailer as it gets built.

Nope, in 2009 the 19 was my first Escape. The 5.0TA is planned to be my last.

LOL until Reace makes the 5.0 TA Plus! I thought our 17B was going to be our last trailer too, until I spent time in Leon and Lindy's 21.

Oh, it will be the Plus, many times over.

My 19 was originally to be my forever trailer too.

Not quite everything They're still not putting any reflectix behind the fridge. Don't know why not, there's certainly been enough people that have improved their fridge cooling by installing reflextic and insulation in that area. The sun beating down on a single layer of f.g. turns that area into an inferno. I'd request some reflectix at least be put there.

Yeah, we plan on keeping ours for a long time also. We spent nearly two years with a couple flights down to Seattle and the Midwest looking at various truck campers, trailers and motor homes. It came down to either a class C or the 5.0. For our style of camping we made the right choice, no regrets. Scott

Would the Reflectix keep heat in or out in this application, given the fridge is emitting heat and that the sun can beat down on the outside? I think with my 17 that it helps that the fridge wall is shaded by the awning.

Yeah, I buy bicycles all the time, and every time I buy one I tell Lindy "This is the last bike I will ever get". She just rolls her eyes and says "until something else comes along..."

But we are both SO happy with our 21, that right now I can't imagine a nicer trailer.

Yes, the fridge is emitting heat and that is removed by a convection current. Extra heat added to the area doesn't help.
