Thanks all, for the comments on the color choices . We have to give a nod to Trenton and Randi for showing us "Olaf", where Jessica loved their Formica color, and we decided to try it in our 19 .
Steve, we're going to wait until mid-April to go and pick it up .( We've waited this long, what's a couple more months ? ) We hope to have a better chance for good camping weather, and be able to spend a few days at the Spring NOG on the way back home .
Jim, that does look like a hinge to the right of the stove cover . I can't say I've ever noticed one before, in looking on the forum, and looking at escapes in person . Either it's something new, or I just missed that detail up until now .
Dennis

Our 3 burner stove has a hinge on the lid. Our is set the standard position so you don't see the hinge like you do when stove is rotated 90 degrees.

The hinge in the photo looks like someone just set it down there and forgot to pick it up before taking the photo.

The hinge is on the side when you turn the stove 90 degrees. On the back in the standard position.
Great looking campers!
That is one seriously cracked egg in the back of Anne's picture.

When we were at the factory a few weeks ago we were told the cover is attached to the stove top for safety reasons, but it could be easily removed by the owner if they wanted to. I think I posted about that after the trip in one of my various threads, but it's easy to miss every single thing that's posted here.
We plan to remove it. I want a cutting board cover instead of that huge metal cover.

You don't have to get the cover installed at all. That would save you from having to remove it and dealing with any holes in the Formica. At the time of my build a stove cover was an option.
