I think it was about a 20 minute drive. I don't think that there was any additional charge for taking delivery that way. Of course when we told the U.S. customs agent what the reason for our trip to Canada was....he said just what Tammy said he might say. Jokingly he said "where is the trailer...it must be awfully small". (Dennis was exporting it through on the commercial side.)
And then coming back over about an hour later, the Canadian agent said why come all the way from Florida to purchase in Chilliwack. Of course we all know the answer to that.

Talking Week 4 pics

Week four! Construction complete and headed for quality assurance and finishing touches. Soon we'll be heading to Canada to pick her up.

Wow! One of the biggest checks I've ever written, but looking at what I'm getting, I'm very happy so far.

Oh. I so like seeing all the progress. Vicki, great colors! (I went pretty boring on my color choice.) MarksAlot, I like that microwave under the sink and I am wondering if ours is parked next to yours. Great to have it outdoors with the natural light even on a grey day in Chilliwack. FishBioGirl, I like your color.

Which is easy to fix with throws and pillows. Even better, you can change the motif with the season.

Hi RooBarb,
I wanted the microwave close to the food prep area, but out of the way. Looks like it came together well.

We could be close to each other. Looking at all the shiny new Escapes is so nice.

TODDLER PICS! I'll share just a few, since mine is in the second week of the build.

I had an LED light mounted in the rear. Now have LEDs all the way around and turn on with one switch at the door jam.

Bigger/deeper single sink. Need one big enough for my coffee cup. Faucet I removed from my Scamp. It was a Christmas present from my parents several years ago. I lost my Dad a year ago, I think he'd like I'm taking a little bit of him along with me camping.

Donna, I see a small vent just to the left of the right tail light. Any idea what that is?

I think so too! It's these kinds of things that ETI is willing to do during the build that makes the Escape GREAT!
