Toto is hatched
At this point Toto looks pretty much like all the other just-hatched 21's, but if you look closely enough its uniqueness will become apparent. Just keep staring at it. If you find yourself looking away, STOP and return your gaze to Toto. Look carefully.
If more than an hour passes, it's okay to look away.

The only thing I can think of is it's Toto, and it's yours!!!!! That in itself makes it very special, doesn't it?

Looks like it could possibly have a large front window, covering bath and bed areas.

The front looks like other Escape 21's, such as the one in the ETI website photos. I do see the markings for the cutout for the optional bathroom window, but I don't know if that makes it unique.
I think I'm missing something - it certainly wouldn't be the first time!

How to avoid staring for an hour
Okay, seriously, nothing to see here. I just wanted to share our eggcitement and couldn't think of anything to write. I don't think there's anything unique to see unless you consider that this particular set of molecules in this trailer shell IS unique. But not in a visible way. Not yet. Not to me, anyway.
We hadn't realized our build was underway already, so the pix arriving yesterday was a thrill. What fun that the Escape crew does this for us all.

What is really unique is how ETI has those big molds and uses air pressure to release the egg. Loren

Well their product may be unique in some ways, but the mold size and using air to break the part free certainly aren't unique. I've laid up parts 3 times that size and been using air since the 60's.

The most unusual (and desirable) part of ETI's fiberglass shell handling is that they join the two shell parts while they are still in the mould, ensuring alignment of the parts. I think the door frame is 'glassed in before the body is taken out of the mould, as well. Of course, all Escapes get that treatment
Back to Friday Photos!

It's OKAY to be thrilled! I remember when I received my first build pics of Ten Forward and that was several months ago. COOL BEANS FOR YOU! It's yours and that makes it GREAT! Doin' the happy dance for every single owner receiving those first pics

What a great feeling! Even better than way back when you were able to "special order" your car from the factory. Now, the closest you get is, we have one that is close to what you are looking for! Enjoy the excitement and anticipation. We enjoyed keeping the vision of our upcoming first trip!

It's ours!
We got it! Stayed at the Best Western next door. Hit the door at 8 am sharp. Got the orientation. Picked up a Sherline tongue scale, stabilizer pads, and a step cover, all very reasonably priced. Escape now has an Ohio flag to hang. They did a nice job installing my Reese SC hitch. Reace picked up on my tires being low. Aired those up and off to Bob's Burger. Drove to Deception State Park, dropped trailer, and back to Burlington and hit Camping World and Walmart. Organizing day today. Lesson to the wise. I missed on the build sheet that it did not ask for cell antenna to be pulled behind frig to front. My fault. All in all great experience. Now camping our way back to Ohio.

Thanks. The good time comment hits home. The trip out was pretty stressful. Finding pet friendly hotels, lots of miles, six days in the truck packed to the brim. Now is time to slow down and smell the roses!
