Absolutely, postively. We've seen a bunch of pictures that kinda look like a lot of others. But you know what? They're not, they're YOURS

The front solar panel is barely visible above the door. We are so appreciative for Reace's ability to get get two 150W panels on top, in addition to the AC. Life is good...

Hi oldclimber,
With two 150 watt solar panels, which battery option did you get?
Lookin good! I'm kinda partial to 19's.

Looks good, Gae! Always glad to see those photos. How much is added to the solar cost for the second panel? You are getting a big inverter perhaps? Two 160s?

My husband and I are picking it up. Looking forward to meeting all the ETI folks, checking out northern Washington state and then onto Osoyoos for the rally. Meeting friends out west who are also getting their new Escape about the same time. We'll be traveling in good company with folks who know these trailers well. The Eddy's had the 6th 19' built and they've been a great spokes-team for this company!

Hi Mark--Yep, it seems the 19's are easy to be partial to. We are very excited. We went with the dual 6V batteries. Also have a smaller 85W portable solar panel we will take, as well. Hopefully, this will give us the juice to run Ike's CPAP, LED's and water pump when we need it.
Peace~

Thanks, Cathy. I heard from ETI a few weeks ago that they have gone with another company for the solar panels and controller, so this means 150W panels and a different controller. We paid $1,450 for both panels (w/controller), originally. Based on this, the second panel was $600.00. Please check w/ ETI, though, since the product has changed, I wouldn't want to misquote.
We did go with the 1500W inverter with a transfer switch including all outlets. Peace~

That is interesting to find that the solar set-up has changed. I wonder which companies they are now using including for controllers. The 1500w inverter will run a microwave. Thank you for that information and we look forward to seeing your two-panel set-up.

I see Escape is back to the awning kitchen window, that is a lot nicer than the slider, especially in wet weather...did you get the thermapane windows?

Beautiful, Eric! The color of the graphics and the dark counter tops are both quite striking--well done. Our trailers will be at ETI together, awaiting the big May retrieval! Looking forward to seeing yours at Osoyoos. Happy travels~

I believe the 21 still has the slider. The awning kitchen window is an option on the 19. I could be wrong - but I think I'm right!!

I take no credit for the décor/aesthetic touches; that's Diana's forte. I tend to the mechanical/technical issues. The two are mutually exclusive (mostly). In fact she is at this moment out shopping for bed sheets, pillows, tea towels, etc.
Re: the sliding vs awning kitchen window. I had not even thought of the rain issue. Shouldn't matter if the awning is deployed. How about the bathroom window? Anyone know if it's sliding or awning? Bigger issue on that side of the trailer.
Trolling through the various threads on this forum has been VERY helpful to us throughout the ordering and build process. As we are rookie RVers, there is still much to learn. Thanks to all who have posted.
Cheers,
Eric
