We're also very curious about the bolt system, as well. I've seen the photos posted earlier and we are awaiting the kit from ETI. Because we have dual solar panels, this project is a major concern for us. We'll find a competent technician to bolt the panels, but how I wish we'd known about the their stability issues before we picked the trailer up May 22. I'd much rather have ETI do the work~

Yes, so true. We got a call from ETI today with a couple of questions from the upholsterer for us about the fabric pattern direction.
Our build date is Sept. 21, but they are assembling materials already.
They told us our 17A bare egg is out of the molds and sitting in line, ready to start construction. Wow.
I sure would love to see progressive photos or video of the whole assembly line.

Go visit; after a career as a manufacturing engineer I was pretty impressed at their flow and methods.

I see that there is a hole at the dinette that I think was for the electrical, however, someone said it has been moved. Does anyone know? Guess we will see next week!

Judging by it's size, I'd say it's for the WFCO. Katherine posted this build photo of her 21 in post #1467, and the WFCO was in the dinette as well, although they do relocate it to the back bench if you get the u-shaped dinette - just like in the 19.

Glad you asked Tom, because I was wondering too. I imagine something electrical, but I can't decipher anything. I just have a converter/battery charger though. Pretty sure Robert will tune us in.

Charlie,

We did visit last November, and it was impressive. Now, about all I remember from the whirlwind tour was that every workstation was organized, had specific tasks, and that the trailers progressed on an almost daily basis from station to station.

They didn't have the fabric dome tent-rooms up (or we didn't see them), and since then, after the 15 was dropped, they appear to have a much higher output, so I'm guessing that the process has been optimized even more.

I would love to see a stop-action or time-lapse video of a trailer from start to finish.

Thanks, Pat.
After we sent in our signed build list (the last of monthly re-iterations of the constantly changing list), I thought I could sit calmly and wait until the hatch date. But, Nooooooo. I can't stand it.

Guess I'll go reorganize the garage, or paint the house, or Google-street-view our entire 1st planned trip, or

While I appreciate you moving the hair comments to another thread Donna, post #3 on that thread was a response to a build question, and its on topic here.
